I don't know if this has already been addressed, but is there a modified baking shadows tutorial for the newest Blender 2.61 version? The new interface is KILLING me--I can't find anything anymore!

I did it (I think!)! :D
Only problem: now I can't save my stinkin image, so I can know if I did it right!
[EDIT] Wait wait wait!
I pressed [F3], pack image or whatever, since [Alt + S] was greyed out, and I was going to try and save the file as a jpg, when I see a DDS option at the top! In the older Blender version I used there was no dds option!
I'm gonna try and save it as a jpg, just to be on the safe side.
If I can get this baked, I may just put up my own stinkin tutorial! :anime:

There is this one to set it up manually(uses 2.49 in pics, but has new Blender notes): http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=435894
and this one using my Blender tools: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=435938
You'll have to save your image as targa and convert it another program, or get my 'Save as DDS' script to export as .dds. http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=458513

WOAH  We were typing at the same time--I love it when that happens
Aha!--you were 5 steps ahead of me--thanks for the link to your script tool! ^-^ Yup, that's what I was trying to figure out! (I'm still gonna go the jpg route, though, since I still may have done something wrong (I couldn't find the Smooth Groups option so I skipped that step *SIGH*) )

I wouldn't use jpeg, as its lossy, and you lose even more quality converting to dds.
