Story progression question

Really quick question: I installed Twallan's Story Progression and it seems to have worked - i get a pop up in the game saying mod script found. however, i see no evidence of it in the game. Nothing I click on has any different options. Or am I really dumb and it just works in the background? But it has a child support feature and my sim has a child but no child support comes in from the father who live in a different house.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

If it was set up correctly when you click on City Hall you'll get option for Nraas-> Story Progression-> general options and town options.
