Maybe just maxmotive everyone?

There'd be no kids in real life if mothers 'got rid' of them once they bring their motives down. ;)

It's all about organization. Probably set up seperate rooms for the little ones so they don't wake each other up at night. Don't keep them in Mom's bedroom as they'll be fine in their cribs once they woke up and called for Mama for a while.

Does Mom have any relatives? Maybe one of her sisters or even her mother will be happy to move in with her and the little ones for a while to lend her a hand? It's what real life people do! ;)

And after all: It's just a phase. They'll be toddlers for three days only. Mom will survive, you just have to set priorities. Feed her the best food available and let the house be a mess. She'll have enough time to clean up once the babies attend school.

Good luck!

I do agree with the 2 posts above that you should just maxMotives them so mother lives past this toddler stuff

but if you really want to get rid of them without bad memory just turn them into rump-roasts
and have mommy eat them

maybe this helps:

this is the only needed item for this to work

They are toddlers not babies.

Maxmotives isn’t what I would use, but it sounds like you need it. Thought I would add my game play suggestions. I’ve had lots of twin toddlers, in fact I’ve even done the toddler mania challenge with seven, after that two seems like a breeze.

If you have FreeTime make sure to tick the perks which help with energy, food, social and hygiene.

Get the toddlers potty trained with smart milk and the thinking cap. The easy way to get these is to date. Maybe mum can date the servo.

Put floor dividers found under fences around each cot and it keeps the sound in so no one else wakes up.

All toddler wake in the middle of the night unless you put on a hack. I use toddler blankets so they can put themselves to bed and get up when they want.

The activity table with Free Time builds friendship and social between the toddlers as well as keeps them busy. If they are potty trained all they will need is a bottle tossed in their direction and a bath.

This hack should help you in some way:

Toddlers Sleep Through Night (http://www.drealm.info/simlogical/sl/Sims2Pages/Sims2_Childcare.htm) (about 1/4 down the page). Will also affect babies, but toddlers being put in cribs after 8PM will sleep until 6AM.

If you really want to get rid of them, Inge's Teleporter (http://www.drealm.info/simlogical/sl/Sims2Pages/Sims2_Teleporters.htm) (choose one depending on your game configuration) will allow you to put babies/toddlers/children up for adoption without the bad memory.

To be honest, it takes a fair bit of practise to get things right: my first set of twins in the game I had the same problems with the parents exhausting themselves trying to take care of their toddlers. Nowadays, the only reason I get annoyed with one of my hacks giving me quads is usually because I'm trying to keep the population down.

Thx iam going to use the smart milk and the thinking cap to get them learn the skills thx again, and im going to let the servo do the dirty things to help my sims and see whats going to happen because this set of twins are devilish some kind of way,bye im off to sims.

Do you have pets? Pet beds and food bowls on the floor where the toddlers can get at them are lifesavers. Also, invite friends over, influence them to clean the house and play with the toddlers while your sim cooks dinner. Where's the dad here, anyway? Put him to work.

That's one thing that annoyed me about toddlers...they're up the minute their Energy is 100%.

I have that babies/toddlers sleep all night hack and it makes things so much easier. With babies I make sure their mom nurses them right before bedtime. Toddlers are awakened around 5 or so, get a bath, eat, take an afternoon nap, have dinner, then go to bed.

In real life toddlers generally sleep all night; I know my own child was sleeping all night beginning at three months old.

Lots of toddlers don't though. My kids were both sleepers, but I have friends whose kids dropped naps altogether at 18 months and some who still wake every night at 2 1/2, so it can reflect real life with sim toddlers being poor sleepers. I'm weird in that I tried that hack but it seemed like wasted time with full energy bars. I kept thinking they could be up and skilling. I like them to skill 'boring skills' like mechanical while they can have fun at the activity table so I took the hack out. With the sleeping mats it doesn't disturb anyone when they wake up. Screaming toddlers in cots(cribs) that would drive me up the wall.

I didn't sleep all night as a toddler, child, teen, adult, or now as elder. You won't catch me hacking with sim personal sleep cycles! I have the hack that lets toddlers get out of cribs on their own whether they can walk or not; but some toddlers will insist on just sitting there anyway.

I should have used pet bowls and bed with the Strangetown Newsons, but I decided against it as my take on the family for this incarnation is that Ginger is gaming the system - squatting in a disused barracks that isn't cleared either for demolition or for official housing of military families, playing the "our parents died in war-torn Simlakistan" card on the General next door, deliberately choosing an area with poor social service support - and toddlers eating kibble would play against that. Which means, with the unavailability of nannies, that she and Gavin are still under lots of stress those first four days.

Just use the 'maxmotives' cheat, it will increase everyone's motives. Just let the toddlers have toys to play with and let mum do anything she wants. Or if you really hate the toddlers, just set them to birthday with boolprop. and the least trick, just let the social worker take them away.

I've ever had twins with only base game (no maxmotives cheat yes. it comes with NL). their mum's motive was so low. and dad just came home from work and also in a bad mood. but I'm managed to teach both toddlers all of the toddlers skills and made them grew up well. sometimes you need 'brain' to play Sims 2 game. ;)

Well my sim should not had the twins i hate them,i used the smart milk and they finshied toodler stage after skilling them, and lina is not going to have more kids so its going well the reason their dad is not around because he works more days than lina she works once a week in that new collage job.
at least real toddlers dont have need bars lol!

1. Try Inge's Toddlers sleep through the night mod.
2. If they're waking each other up use the Great Divide strips around the cribs, unless they are in an apartment. It acts like a wall and keeps the other twin from hearing the first one waking up.
3. If the toddler isn't hungry or its social isn't low leave the toddler in the crib--they'll stop screaming after a while.

How do you get the pet beds to work for toddlers? Do they only sleep in them autonomously or something? I remember trying to use pet beds for my toddlers one time and the game wouldn't give me the option to select them.

Their energy motive gets low enough and they crawl into them.

That's what I figured. Thanks for your reply. I'll try it again when Angela Broke has her babies. Dustin just recently got her pregnant and I want her to have twins, so I am going to make her eat cheesecake. They live with Angela's parents so they will have help with the twins anyway. I just want to see a toddler sleep in a pet bed. It sounds like it would be adorable.

Toddlers sleeping in pet beds IS quite cute, and really handy in a pinch, but you have to watch closely when they do this. The energy gain on pet beds is a lot slower than a crib, so if you let them actually sleep it out on one, their other motives may be lower than you'd like by the time they get up. Usually better to let them sleep just long enough to give caretakers a break, then wake them, tend to their needs, and put them back down in a crib or on a toddler blanket.

I'm sorry to hear that happened misspink. What an inconvenient time for the game to crash.

Darby, I have the toddler blankets and they are awesome. The toddlers will go to them and get up from them by themselves. I just wish the blankets took up less space. If I put the blanket near a wall, the toddler can't always get on it. I always watch my toddlers closely anyway, and I wouldn't use a pet bed all the time. I just want to see a toddler sleep in one occasionally for the cuteness.

Make sure to always save often. Toddler learns a skill-save. Promotion-save, a day played-save. I find learning to save often has been one of the best things for keeping my sanity. That and frequent backups.

Toddler blankets are much better then pet beds energy wise. Also pet food can be a great life saver but does tend to glitch, or it does in my game. I hardly ever let toddlers eat from pet bowls as I find it rather gross and even so I've had two toddlers spewing kibble out of their heads like small fountains. O_o

This is what you need.... A toddler bed, so the kids can put themselves to sleep and get themselves out with they wake up. A toddler table, so they can feed themselves when they get hungry. Theres also a couch and chair that helps raise their energy as well!! http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=225901&c=1
