Default The Sims 1 Fatal Error (Help)
So, I just downloaded the sims 1 on my winows 8 64 bit laptop when I opened the sims 1 normally and then a message popped up and said "The game cannot be started because: The graphics card doesnt support thousands of colors Exit now. I know the game is old but I wanna play it so bad so I hope anyone could help me fixing the error.

I'm sorry, I don't understand graphic cards well enough to help with this.

How did you download the game? I wasn't aware that it was available for download?
Addicted to The Sims since 2000.
