For Sims 3 I barely have any CC but for sims 2:

over 30,000 files
11.9 GB
My game takes about 30-45 minutes to open. Bodyshop 2 hours, CAS 30-45 minutes and lots 10-30 minutes. I AM a downloading whore :D

Currently my Downloads folder is 6,83 GBs. 30.236 files in 810 folders. For some reason I cannot fathom, it lags slightly and takes a few minutes to get it running completely smoothly when I open a family. It baffles me because I have 6 GB RAM and I don't even experience this sort of lagging when playing Skyrim.

With CC, it should show up on the game launcher.

I dont have many mods for TS3...I'd say somewhere around 30 MB? TS2 has about 50 MB. I'm new to the modding world, but my folders are filling up FAST.

Why not check out my Sims 2 story? http://modthesims.info/article.php?t=499110

My Downloads folder has exploded over the last week. It's now 38.733 files in 1.206 folders, 8,56 GBs all in all. It was around 7,5 just this morning *winces* When I opened my game earlier it took some 28 minutes, but I was cleaning out my Cache files so that probably had some effect. I'm not really looking forward to opening it again later.

haha. I thought I'm the only hoarder. lol

I only have TS2 (hadn't even touch TS3). Right now, I'm at 10G+, and over 40,000 files. lol.

Takes 1 hours to load, another 45 for CAS on a 3.5G RAM PC. lol. need to upgrade my hardware soon. I'm sick of waiting time.

Eighteen days later I have 48.336 files in 1.679 folders which are 10,5 GB. I think the load time is still around half an hour. I'm so happy for my 6 GB RAM when I read about your loading times, soriya!

As of now, in my Sims 2 Downloads folder, I have 2,616 items, and the size of the folder is 818 MB. ...So apparently that's not the record...

Just cleaned out my mod folder. Now I only have 1.78 MB of mods, and they are mostly Nraas, and I don't have any Sims3Packs in my game either

I currently have 57.945 files in 1.318 folders, 13.2 GBs all in all. I just re-installed my game because I installed my empty templates wrong (and, no, I have not downloaded all this in three days, it's a back-up =P), and to my great surprise my loading times have shortened! Loading up the game took around forty minutes before I uninstalled, but now it only takes a little over twenty (which rocks, let me tell you). Opening families and CAS take around the same time. I think some of it might be because I spent around ten hours cleaning out my Downloads folder this weekend; re-arranged at least a third of my files and deleted around a thousand folders (I'm one of those people who go on downloading sprees and chunk everything in their 'New things' folder without going through it, so I end up with endless subfolders).
