Hello everyone,

So I started creating a terrain by request, a Cairo, Egypt, everything is fine, only when it comes to bridges:

I edited the terrain, deleted the bridges and built them up again, but its of no use.

Thanks in advance!

It looks like the terrain is too high for the bridge. Try evening out the terrain so that it won't go over the bridge.

Thankyou Mootilda, I still have a problem with this bridge:

One side is fine, but the other is still incomplete. Some bridges got fixed, except for this one.

ETA: Okay, I tried lowering the sides, but its of no use:

It looks as though the hill is still intersecting the bridge at one end. You gave it a nice, flat ledge on the side that works. Maybe giving it a nice, flat ledge on the other side will help.

I am Ghost. My husband (who made the account because I was too shy) is sidneydoj. I post, he downloads, and I wanted to keep my post count.

Here is a close-up:

Are you saying I should flatten the area in front of the beginning of the bridge?

That's the first picture that I've seen which actually helps me to understand the problem. From that picture, it looks like the road is missing from one or more tiles of the bridge. Is that correct? Or, is the road in the right location, but lower than expected?

I haven't got a clue what would cause that behavior. Looks like you've found a bug.

What does this look like in SimCity 4? I'm wondering whether it's a bug in SC4, or a bug in the conversion from SC4 to TS2.

Suggestions:
- Try a different type of bridge.
- Use an SC4 bridge slope mod to avoid the auto-bump in the terrain.
- You may be able to fix the problem by manually editing the roads or bridges structure in the neighborhood:

Thank you guys, well, gals! My bridge issue got fixed when I shortened the bridge length:

Anyway, thankyou Mootilda and Ghost for your help, really appreciate it.

Mootilda, what is all the stuff written in the wiki page? Didn't understand it.

The wiki explains the internal format of the record which controls the bridges in TS2.

Glad that you managed to sort out your problem.
