Mod for Butler door?
Is there a way to keep my family outside of the (literal) "outer house" I set aside for the butler, mods or elsewise?

I believe if you have University you can set specific sims for a door.

Yes, but my butler is not a part of my family, so he can't be set that way.

Although it hasn't been updated for IP or ITF, so it may not work.

Yeah, it doesn't. Thanks for trying, though.

No, unfortunately MoDoor does not work on the higher patch levels. The next version of NRaas GoHere, currently in beta testing, will have extensive door filtering options included. It's got a number of issues being worked on currently and is not ready for release yet. In the meantime, I believe the Barrier to Entry doors that came with the Le Cinema Plumbob EA store set (now available separately) would do what you want; the ticket machine setup is not required to selectively lock doors. They aren't the prettiest doors in the world, even with some CASt touch-ups, but security is after all more about function than form.
