Default Any Reccommendations to Make Sims 3 More fun?
Hello! So I have loved Sims 3 ever since I've gotten it. It is most definitely not a boring game, but I recently have been getting bored of the usual game play. Does anyone have any mod recommendations that will make the game more fun? Thank you for your time and help!

Your best bet is to wander around and see what's available- find what interests you and check to make sure it would work for your game. Everybody has a different gameplay style, so what one person likes won't be the same for another.

Here's a few places you might start:
MTS (this site) Mods Category (there's so many mods here I can't begin to list them): http://modthesims.info/browse.php?f=414&showType=2&gs=2
NRaas (you'll especially hear people mention Master Controller, Story Progression, and Error Trap, but it's worth a look at all the various mods available, you might find some tweaks that'll make gameplay more fun): http://nraas.wikispaces.com/
Simlogical (some of these are fairly old, so be careful to make sure they will work for your patch version of the game before downloading): http://www.simlogical.com/ContentUp...ploadsIndex.htm

You can also check out videos on Youtube or Google 'Sims 3 mods' to get some ideas.

Do things that you usually don't. I'm currently letting wishes dictate everything my sims do. Lots of travel and lots of venue visits that I otherwise wouldn't have bothered with.

Make Sims you normally wouldn't--if you like to make really pretty or handsome ones, make a few "different" Sims (tall, short, fat, v. thin). Use some sliders and so on so they look different. Or make a bunch of mean and evil sims and see what happens..

Just having a sims that looks out of place can add fun and you might start to think of a storyline that will enhance your play. Search out an era (Victorian/1970s/modern?) and make a neighborhood based on that time period. These are just some ideas off the top of my head. Another good idea--take a break and come back to it later. Spend that time collecting the CC for your custom family or neighborhood. You would be amazed how many new things are out there every day!

http://www.modthesims.info/forumdisplay.php?f=564 has a lot of challenges. Pick one that looks interesting and go for it.
