Default Conversion Reqest
Hello Sims 3 community!

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I tried looking around for something similar but I haven't found anything. It's also my first time posting, so please be gentile. I was wondering if someone could convert a few things from Jennisims the Sims 4 objects to the Sims 3. I tried requesting a conversion but I never heard back. Please let me know what you think. I'll include links and collection titles below. I think on her website it says that you can mod, recolor, etc. but I'm not entirely sure how this process works. Please check before hand if anyone is willing to help me out, I don't want anyone getting in trouble. I really appreciate any help!

Best!

- Decoratives Vol 27 (10 items)
- I was wondering if I could get the South American Statues, the Poseidon Statue, and the Totem all larger and for the sims 3.

- Decoratives Vol 38 (6 items)
- I really wanted the tall Assyrian Statue if possible along with the vase and the elephant.

- Decoratives Vol 37 (12 items)
- The statues are all really great, but I think the second one is a bit too fantasy themed. I also really love the fork lift.

- Set Vol 44 Decoratives Egypt
- These statues are great!

This site really doesn't allow requests, but if you were to ask for help learning how to make your own conversions there are some very friendly and talented people who are likely to help you learn.

Unfortunately, I'm not one of the talented people and don't even own Sims 4, so all I can do is to point you in the direction of some tutorials to get you started.
http://simscommunity.info/2015/09/0...rsion-tutorial/ is a tutorial on putting objects from Sims 3 into Sims 4. It looks as though the process may be reversible.

http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php...ersion_Tutorial is how to convert objects from Sims 2 to Sims 3.
Follow the directions in the first tutorial to export the Sims 4 mesh.
Then look at the directions for getting a Sims 2 mesh into Sims 3, follow those steps, and test your object.
Keep track of exactly what you did at each step, and when something goes really wrong and you can't figure out why, come ask at MTS. (You can even go onto the chat servers and ask in chat for some more real-time help. )

I am Ghost. My husband is sidneydoj. I post, he downloads, and I wanted to keep my post count.

I really appreciate your help! Sadly, I don't own the Sims 4 either. I assume it's not possible to convert files without owning the sims. I'll have to make the investment sometime soon then! I really appreciate your tips, thank you!

Like Ghost sdoj said, requests are not allowed, however, creating things yourself is quite easy and we'd love to help you out with it I would actually suggest watching this tutorial as well, it's quite easy to follow and is specifically made for TS4>TS3 (So not the other way around) However you will notice that the TS4>TS3 tutorial Ghost sdoj linked is pretty similair to this one Do keep in mind that you don't necessarily need the sims 4 to convert things. Especially when it comes to Custom content like this

Else I would suggest checking out 'creators who take requests' thread instead:

Oh so it could be possible? Thank you for the tips everyone, I really appreciate the help! I understand that we can't make requests now, so I'll be sure to keep that in mind for the future. Thank you
