Amairani, Thank you for sharing so many pictures. Yes! Soon a new generation will rule in my Polgannon as well.
I take pictures and have an album for Polgannon and for each of the families. I keep only the best photos. I will try to learn how to share pictures here.

Oh please share your pictures! I use photobucket for uploading pictures, but I know it's not the best option, I just got used to using it since registering there years ago, photobucket provides a ready link for each uploaded picture, I just copy it and paste it here in reply post, that's all.

I've started writing up the end of the murder mystery now. I said I'd release it at New Year though I don't think it will be on the 1st January - sometime during that month.

Just a quick note about the apartment cottages in Pologannon. I have needed to evict tenants after a time because ( as will at times happen with apartments) the units become a bit glitchy. However, moving out all tenants appears to reset things so that the units can again be occupied.
Also to keep the town and its subhoods healthy I have been routinely cleaning up each Sim with the batbox. In addition I like to save a back up copy along the way and use Mootilda's Hood Checker. Hopefully this community will continue for several generations!

Emptying any apartment should reset it as the game will revert back to the base lot (the original build). Those apartments were a bit of a complicated build, especially the Lanscumbe Road apaprtments. I don't think I'd do anything quite that complicated again.

I absolutely love your apartments and the fact that they so easily reset keeps them playable :-) The younger generation are now either adults or soon will be. (Not all attend Uni as some either do not roll a wish to do so; or can not afford the experience.) So, it is good to have rentable places for those who wish to move out on their own without leaving the village. The Hammets and the Jago-Curnow ladies were happy to return to their reset apartment cottages :-)
What I have found is that I ended up needing to completely vacate all units and then move back in those who wish to continue there.

I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one who spent the New Year's eve playing Polgannon 
Week 4, part 1
First I'd like to show where the young adults of Polgannon gain their education at. They go to Falmouth college and for Students' Dorm I used an empty remake of Boggs Hall Dorms from Academie Le Tour by jodeliejodelie and furnished it myself.
Students
This is our cheerleader, Steffi Go, if I'm not mistaken. James Penhaligan tried to date her, but gave up. Steffi would break into her cheerleader's routine after every single interaction with James. It was so annoying! Here they were in the middle of their date, by the way.
And here's our Cow Mascot without her costume. If I remember right, Brenda Kearney. She basically lives at the dorm, using one of the spare bedrooms.
Here's Kelyn Warne when at college. I forgot to take her picture for the last update.

This week's students
Let me introduce the new playable Sims. (They used to be townies, then I aged them town to teens to give my playable teens more friends options and then they were sent to college with new legends
)
Elowen pen Helmin. The only daughter of Sir Reginald pen Helmin, a Baronet. She's a Knowledge Sim, took a Biology Major and is interested in Medicine. The Penhaligans and the pen Helmins wish for Elowen and James to get married.
Regina Laywenn. A niece of George Edgcumbe, an Earl of Lanscumbe. Regina's mother had died few years ago and uncle George took Regina in. She's a Knowledge Sim, took a Mathematics major and wishes to be a Science teacher.
Sophie Midlock. Comes from a wealthy family in Haldhu. A Family Sim, a bit rebellious now that she's out on her own, with an interest in Medicine, took Physics major.
Elowen and Blair Tremain had a very short lived romance in college, basically a one evening stand
No feelings were hurt.
When Gretchen Pascoe joined the dorm, Blair followed her around like a puppy, realizing she's more of his circle than Elowen and he has more chances with Gretchen.
As you can see, Verity's hairdo was very popular among young ladies. Verity Penhaligan didn't like the copycats and in future all girls would have to choose a different hairstyle.

Oliver Penhaligan graduated in Drama major and hoped his mother Adele Ballantyne could help him with getting roles, but Adele's popularity dropped significantly once she aged.
James Penhaligan majored in Business and landed a Senior Manager's position in family's company. In no time he got promoted to Vice President. It's easy when your father is Business Tycoon. James also does the landlord's duties
Karenza Tremain and James are over, James himself realized he can't date a woman of same age as his mother. His parents, Caroline, daughter of Marquess of Tregannon, and father Carrow Penhaligan, want James to marry Elowen pen Helmin. James doesn't mind. Elowen is beautiful, educated, noble and rich. And she doesn't mind James's gardening hobby.
Yes, Karenza is an Elder already.
She moved out with Blair and Mrs. Scarlett into new apartment but in the same house with Jago-Curnow ladies, after splitting in half the money they got thanks to winning the lottery.
When Blair Tremain was a kid, he wanted to be a concert pianist when he grows up. But after Blair grew up, his want changed to taking a position of a High School Principal one day. While getting ready for college, he enjoyed his relationship with Gretchen Pascoe

...in more ways than one, as Guelet isn't very faithful and accepts Gwynwallow's advances right in front of Austrell. Teens..
Austrell's father, Cedric Chesney, is quite a character as well. When we left him, Cedric was getting ready to marry the love of his life, Griselda Pascoe. Griselda was literally getting ready to get married for the second time, sweating on a exercise machine, trying to get in shape for the wedding dress
At the same time Cedric welcomed his old love Chester and they were getting very romantic downstairs.
Of course, wedding was called off and Cedric was kicked out
Caroline Penhaligan took Cedric in as she needed someone to play home poker with
Between poker games, Cedric was sneaking out to kick the trash can at Griselda's backyard. Cedric, you're at fault for what had happened!
Theodore Pascoe is torn. He likes both Tamara Cardew and Tegan Warne. However, when Tamara and Kelyn Warne visited Theo at his house, he went upstairs with Kelyn
The whole week Theo was switching to Tamara, then to Tegan, back to Tamara, then to Kelyn, back to Tegan, then again Tamara ... Make up your mind, Theodore!!
The Warne sisters were even very unfriendly to each other because of Theo, but luckily made up. After coming home from college, Tegan was in love with Oliver Penhaligan, Theodore Pascoe and shortly fall in love with Seth Nancarrow, their neighbor.
Notice how Breoc tries to spy on Tegan and Seth and fails. No wonder he got stuck as a Desk Sergeant and got no promotions.
Nessa and Breoc were against all these young men, saying none of these candidates are suitable for one reason or another. They said Nikka Clesek is a reliable fellow and Tegan should get to know him better
For Kelyn, they tried to set her up with Loumarch pen Bodwannick
Kelyn is kind of Ok with this arrangement, but still loves Theodore, however since he can't make up his mind, she continues inviting Loumarch over
Career-wise, Kelyn is a Sports Columnist, but thinks of switching to Internet Movie critic. Tegan landed a job as a draftsman at the end of the week and quickly got promoted to Architect, her dream job.
Nessa died of old age and forgot to transfer the lot ownership, so, unfortunately, Nessa's Flower shop does not longer belong to the Warnes. Breoc showed his true colors, by not grieving over wife's death, but hopping from one lady to another.
He enjoyed his time with Eva Tremethyk

...in his kitchen, with Tegan having her meal right next to them
..at the backyard of Karenza's apartment during a party Karenza threw for the neighbors
And then switched to Karenza herself!
It didn't last long, Breoc died of old age on Monday.
Penelope and Jowan Hammett saw their daughter Elestren becoming a child on Tuesday
Elestren found a spinning toy at their backyard, the one late grandma Mellyn made, and made herself dizzy for spinning all day
Jowan continues his gamer job, but gets no promotions. Sometimes Penelope and Jowan work at the Moonraker's Inn, and brought its rank from 6 to 7. They are getting closer to elder-hood and it looks like Elestren is going to be their only child.

Highlights of what happened in Polgannon last week - part 2
Emmett Hammett wants to be a Marine Biologist and takes the collage scholarships very seriously, by the end of the week he got 7 of them! Still, he finds time to meet Amelie Tremethyk Penhaligan
Lowena Hammett is an Ecological Guru now, but Arthur retired on Wednesday and enjoyed his time at home until next Tuesday, when he died of old age.
By the way, Gretchen Pascoe got 6 scholarship, very close to Emmett's result. Also, poor Gretchen was rejected for 1st kiss 11 times (!!!!) by James Penhaligan. That's one teenage trauma, I say.
The Tremethyk-Penhaligan household had a week that will be difficult to top in many Sim years to come.
Davyth Tremethyk went to stargaze at night, as usual, and got abducted! On Wednesday, Davyth got abducted again! He came to like the probing, I guess, since he formed a wish to get abducted again and even wishes other family members have a chance to experience the same.
Same night, after Davyth's return, I sent him to search for the planets, as he needs that damn last Logic point for further promotion, and Davyth got abducted for the 3rd time! That 3rd time was so magical, that now Davyth wants to be abducted 5 more times! But at least he got that last Logic point and on Thursday got promoted to Chief of Staff. The villagers can't wait for the cure Davyth supposedly works on to get rid of the endless sickness.
Abbie Trelawney had a long time love affair with Seth Nancarrow but it ended soon after Tamara returned from college
Tamara herself had an on-off affair with Theodore Pascoe. Tamara was ready to settle down, but Theo was still uncertain.
Poor kid Caswyn got nightly visits by his late fatherm, Alan Trelawney. The urn was moved to St. Genny's church soon.
Abbie enjoyed quiet time with her youngest child, until sickness took her away, making Caswyn and Tamara orphans.
Tamara dedicated herself to raising Caswyn and went to work as a Nurse after Caswyn became a teen, with a Fortune aspiration.
She even got him into Private school.
After that Tamara focused on her work and as of Tuesday she's Polgannon's General Practitioner.
Adele and Marrek Nicholls made up for the hundredth time (last time it was 'cos of Cedric). Adele tries to act as a proper housewife, invited Oliver and Milyan over to meet Gerren, their half-brother, though no one still knows that Milyan is her son.

While kids were getting know each other..
...Adele led Seth upstairs, where Marrek found them after coming home from work
Adele never learns. While the spouses were fighting upstairs, Seth had drinks with Oliver as if nothing happened.
And still with time Marrek forgave Adele. Again. But that time was the last one and even Adele realized that. She invited all her loves and crushes to tell them it's over for good now. After that Adele had a nervous breakdown
On Sunday Gerren became a teen, with Fortune aspiration and dream to be a lawyer like his father.
Seth Nancarrow and Milyan used all the money Rozen gave them to refurnish their apartment
On Tuesday Milyan became a teen, with Fortune and Pleasure aspirations. And he wants to be an Art Forger, which Seth totally approves of.
Seth got Milyan into private school
And by they way it was Seth's layer cake that the Headmaster got his big belly from
Well, Seth is a Prep Cook after all
After breaking up with all the old ladies of his, Seth's eyes are on young girls. Sarah Leelaporn declined though, Chesten too... Wylmelza accepted and it went so well, that Seth is even thinking of moving her in, maybe.
Milyan is enjoying his relationship with Medgwistel pen Helporth, and Seth is envying Marrek's costume, who's The Law, but keeps coming to Jory dressed as Criminal Mastermind. Marrek's double game? Or a side job?
Rozen Nancarrow has been curing the villagers, but the source of the virus isn't caught, so it keeps spreading again.
One day Rozen introduced her grandson Milyan to witchcraft, much to Milyan's delight. Now he spends his days learning spells and making regents.
Rozen is an Exorsist now and Jory is a Counterfeiter and finally works decent hours from 9 til 15. Robbers from the rival gang didn't know that, and thinking Jory still works the nights, attempted to steal an expensive painting! Luckily it was returned to Jory and Rozen by police.
To end the update, I'd like to mention that many pets have gone to Pet Heaven due to old age Alan's Nettie, Karenza's Mrs. Scarlett, Rozen's kitty, Davyth's dog.. RIP fluffy friends

After breaking up with all the old ladies of his, Seth's eyes are on young girls. Sarah Leelaporn declined though, Chesten too... Wylmelza accepted and it went so well, that Seth is even thinking of moving her in, maybe.
Milyan is enjoying his relationship with Medgwistel pen Helporth, and Seth is envying Marrek's costume, who's The Law, but keeps coming to Jory dressed as Criminal Mastermind. Marrek's double game? Or a side job?
Rozen Nancarrow has been curing the villagers, but the source of the virus isn't caught, so it keeps spreading again.
One day Rozen introduced her grandson Milyan to witchcraft, much to Milyan's delight. Now he spends his days learning spells and making regents.
Rozen is an Exorsist now and Jory is a Counterfeiter and finally works decent hours from 9 til 15. Robbers from the rival gang didn't know that, and thinking Jory still works the nights, attempted to steal an expensive painting! Luckily it was returned to Jory and Rozen by police.
To end the update, I'd like to mention that many pets have gone to Pet Heaven due to old age

I have a confession to make which is that unfortunately Fallout 4 is proving more interesting atm than finishing Polgannon. It's about half done. it will get done ... just not this week, or month probably.

Ah well, it's going to be a while. For one thing, it's taking a bit of working out (how to present it) and also this time of year is my most intense period at work (there's a reason Polgannon was released in the summer). I will be very busy at work till Easter with two large assessments coming up. After that it eases and I will have more time. And then there's Fallout 4 too - it's very necessary I have downtime and relax totally.
One thing I did think about and might be helpful was to hold a poll about who you, dear players, thought the culprit was. That is, if you are interested, post who you think the murderer was (you don't need to demonstrate it through evidence or motive though comments are welcome), just who you thought did it. And I'll keep a track of the votes on this post. I thought that might go into the solution as the local gossip because they're all going to have some idea who they thought it was. I don't think I need to say that my successful solvers should not post since they know who did it.

"I say it was that Arthur Hammet who done it. You've heard the rumours about how Blaise was seen near that cliff Lowena jumped off on the day she died, right? I reckon that bit of gossip reached him and he drew his own conclusions from it. They says Lowena knew that Eleanor's death wasn't all-natural, you know? And that Blaise had a hand in it. It's too bad for that Jowan kid, him and the Penhaligan girl make such a cute couple, but I guess once that murder business comes out, she won't have anything more to do with him."

Just a quick note to say the poll is coming along nicely. There are quite a large number of sims suspected of murder (which is kind of encouraging since it means the solution is not obvious) though there are also a couple of front-runners starting to emerge.
Sadly, not all of you are going to be correct. I took note of that Ovenhole. Shall try and work it in somehow. I'm thinking of a sims day tomorrow so maybe some progress.
