Default Vending machine mod
I'm trying to make Vending machine mod. I want to change textures of soda cans but it didn't work. I was using this tutorial http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title...e_Object_Images . Help anyone?

UPDATE: The mod is finished.

In case someone wondering - the easiest tutorial about how to change STBL is described on SIMplicity.com
Also Nraas Packer helped me a lot to change text in STBL. Instead of deleting unneeded text one by one I made all changes in 5 minut.

The problem was in Paint.net Cuz when I try to make texture in photoshop - it works. BUT I have a question - how do I rename soda cans and candy bars? Be aware that I don't know how to make mods so I need detailed explanation for beginers. Also I have non english version of the game. Baby steps, please?

I'm assuming you're referring to the in-game description of your soda can

Look at your tutorial under "Cloning the Painting" Step 4.

You can also edit the STBL resource in your package file but you should change it for all languages which might take longer than cloning a fresh one

If you plan on editing STBL resources, S3 String Editor makes it a lot easier.

In STBL file there is only one word - drink. That's it. But where is Glunka etc. ?

I attached file with text I want to change. What do I need to do? Just copy and paste this to S3_220557DA_00000000_120F16B00BA80000_Strings_RUS_RU_0x120f16b00ba8342f%%+STBL or what?

P.S. Can someone recommend me site about modding in ts3 that still alive?
