Hey Modders, there is now an official Simcity modding policy.

That's what SimCity needs to truly support modding. I recently watched a video by Quill18 over at YouTube, it's called "Simcity Mods: How to install! A quick tutorial"

In it he mentioned the website Simtropolis http://www.simtropolis.com/ and how the site has some SimCity mods already (they also have mods for Simcity 4 and CitiesXL). So for anyone interested in trying out some mods go check them out. When offline mode goes live I'm sure we'll see a bunch more.

I am so glad that modding and offline mode are coming for SimCity 2013! Offline-mode mods could add whole new depth and complexity to SimCity's economy, hopefully without making it too complicated.
