Tonight I was browsing through a link to a Tumblr page from Sims Cave and the linked page had another link to 'rare, hard to find CC' on SFS.

There are no descriptions, but it's a massive file-I think everything on this page is hard to find, or has disappeared. It includes some of Chris Hatch's stuff, Sims In Paris, and a lot of other CC that you might be looking for. Of course it's "Caveat Emptor" for all of this:

This isn't exactly a "Sims" thing but if you are trying to learn how to use Gimp, most of the tutorials are not very good. I'm a visual learner who also has to do hands on activities to grasp something. Just reading a tutorial doesn't do it for me.

I came across this Youtube one today and it tells you how to set up the new version and goes slowly step by step. Also, he has a bunch more tutorials. If you're interesting in creating or recoloring with Gimp, definitely check it out.

I hope this helps any of you (like me) who are learning this program which is powerful but not as easy at Paintshop or Photoshop.

Reposting this because I originally posted it in the wrong thread.

I'm sure this has been around for a long time, but I just found a Simblr that has all the lots from the Maxis hoods available for download. It's call TS2 Lot Database https://ts2lots.tumblr.com/post/119...s2-lot-database

...but your link doesn't go anywhere/"not found". But I think I have seen the lots (and lots with the Sims) somewhere. Tarlia?

Is this good for a whole 'Hood? Because I found this: http://kalisasims.tumblr.com/post/1...owntown-for-ts2

It's closer to the original Sims 1 setup than Broomhilda's, and WAY closer than marka93's flattened-out version. The only drawback is that it comes without any Sims, so you have to (re)make your own. But it's absolutely beautiful.

So what about getting the sims from those hoods; are there any "safe" ones? I've only found some IN THEIR HOUSES, and not sure how clean anything is. Think I'll put this in "WCIF"

Did you want those? Because I have a feeling I put all the lots from the bin either into a file or plonked them down in a neighbourhood somewhere. I could look for them.

Edit: I went and had a look in my back up folders and found this one - ah

I no longer come over to MTS very often but if you would like to ask me a question then you can find me on tumblr or my own site tflc. TFLC has an archive of all my CC downloads.

New inhabited custom neighborhood "Fontaine" by Yuka-sims and Crisps&kerosene. No CC. Requires all EPs and SPs. Neighborhood camera mod is required to navigate the neighborhood properly. Perfect plants or similar mod highly recommended due to extensive and complex gardens.

head-desk I literally just started up Pleasantview yesterday. Do I want to get the new version? I'd have to re-do everything I've already done, which admittedly isn't a ton, but still. I already went through all the hassle of re-naming all the Teens downtownies after adding Downtown... What do does "interesting genetics" even mean...

Since she's talking about the Caliente sisters, I imagine she means recessive alien DNA (their grandfather was abducted by aliens).

Pleasantview without the terrible Maxis Townies? A dream comes true!

(Especially since I'm no sure how well made the version where I made them into new characters with Sim Surgery actually is...)

But is there a Downtown without the even worse Downtownies that still does include the Tricou descendants? I know there's one without any downtownies at all, but I want to keep the whole Tricou family tree...but not have a hundred Rando McRandoms running about.
