First of all, apologies if this has been asked a dozen times already. I had done searches on this, but kept getting advice that wasn't pertinent.

Is there a way to edit voices of sims outside CAS, by (for example) editing hex values anywhere? I know it's possible to edit sims' voices in CAS, but CAS doesn't do specifically what I'm looking for.

That is: I'm looking for a way to put voices from one default gender on another, i.e. AF voices on AM sims or vice versa.

Can this be done, or is this hard-coded into CAS / some kind of check routine in a way that can't be circumvented? If there's nothing preventing this in theory, I'm willing to do some leg-work to try and get this working in a reproducible manner.
