Default Animation won't work
Is there a problem with Milkshape, SimPE and/or Sims 2 with Windows 7? Lately I can't seem to get a newly created pose or animation to work. I just created an animation that seems to work in Milkshape. I through the proceedure shown in the YouTube video titled "How To Make Sims 2 Animations Poses". When I go into the game and click to start the animation all the Sims do is just stand there. It still reacts to whatever is going on around it so it's not frozen. It acts like the command doesn't exist. The file name is the same in SimPe's import file and hack file. The instances are in correct order (as in 101E, 101F, 1020, 1021). The operands are correct (0E, 0F, 10 ect.). I have made several poses in the past but lately they just don't want to work correctly. I have been redoing my old pose boxes and updating them with the old poses redone. They usually work. But the poses I create from scratch seems to bug out. Any ideas out there?

Thanks for the link. I tried to find a help page but all I could find were the FAQs. Not knowing what they named that section made it hard to find. I figured someone would direct me to the right direction. Thanks again.

Maybe someone can move this for you.

There are several possibilities - you might bave linked the poses wrong (Text list + BHAV + the two pie menu resources), you might have forgotten to set the group or fix the TGI for the poses, the BHAVs could have been set up wrong, you might not have fixed the BHAV instances, or you didn't export the poses correctly. Usually there's just that little item you forget that screws up the entire pose.

You're right, miss one little item can mess things up royaly. To my knowledge the poses are linked correctly (Text list, BHAV, and the two pie menus). I also fixed the TGI for all the poses in the import file. What do you mean by "forgotten to set the group"?. The BHAV instances are correct (1001, 1002-1009, 100A, 100B-100F, 1010, 1011, ETC). It might be the export from Milkshape that could have gone wrong. I've double and quadruple checked the instructions and it seems I am doing it correctly.

Thanks for responding. I've already posted the problem at the link listed in the previous posting but so far 40 some odd people had viewed my posting but no replies or help.
