it makes my sims faces really bright that is the only thing :< like they've been heavily photoshopped.

Only works on the furniture, sims are darker than ever.

Thank you! I only started playing Sims 4 last night, and that was the first thing I noticed about interiors. So annoying! I'm so glad to know there's a fix.

Tired the new version and it works great. The bright glare is gone. I tried the other brightness mod here and I like yours much better .

One thing I've noticed with this mod...I removed it from my mods folder as I wanted to try the other one thats been uploaded...but it seems the script is still there?

IE, clicking on lights the "set light intensity" is still present and still having the affects.

Any ideas?

My Sims 2 creations are no longer supported. Regardless of what the individual post says, feel free to clone, recolour, chuck on a bonfire or mix in a blender! Just credit me/this site with the upload, and upload here only, thanks

I was using this mod and it worked great, I did need to set the lights dimmer because everything was so bright. However I decided to switch to laptop mode to improve performance and when I did suddenly my sims became as dark as they were before. The rest of the furniture is still bright, but the sims have become dark again. I'm on the highest resolution and all graphic settings are on the highest. Only the laptop mode changed.

Thanks for this mod! It makes taking pictures indoors much easier

I think an update is needed for the latest patch though, this is what my sims' house looked like at night:

I want to report that while this mod makes the indoor lighting better, I think the change is a bit too much, and as others are reporting, the dimmed settings are not sticking.

I think that it have some issues about this MOD. When I played in construction mode, the light I put in there its too bright and some of the lights turn into bright yellow on furnitures. In construction mode without family I cannot modify the brightness of the light. Maybe theres a way to lower this ?

I tested shimrod101's mod, I will test this one now. I looks to me like the light from EA is all over the place. Like I click on adust all lights and one room is dark the rest is light, I click on adjust this light and it affects lights in a different room. It's just rediculous. Is it possible to have adjustments in your mod files completely independent of EA?
