Hi

So I recently, finally started to play Into the Future. Liking it, except for the scan. Constant scan. Scan scan. What is up with this servo? It is constantly wanting to enter the house, which I forbid, fortunately, and repeatedly wants to scan the sims.

It this ..... normal?

Or is this servos has some kind of AI deficiency? Please tell me I can reprogram this servo. It is rather .... creepy seeing this servo following the sim, stalking outside the house for scan scan scan.

Is this some kind of Trekkie reference gone wrong? I do not remember Mr Data doing this on the Enterprise. At least not personally anyway.

bluegenjutsu has a "No Autonomous Robot Scan Sims" mod over on the Sims Asylum.

"This mod makes it so that Plumbots won't autonomously try to Scan sims. Your active Plumbots can still do it if you choose it manually yourself from their menu..."
