This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3
Default Sims 3 1.63 & 1.67 Crashing upon loading a save
Hi,
I've been having a few issues with The sims & crashing randomly and now more recently the game runs fine until I load the save up, so basically I have to start again afresh each time I play, kinda frustrating.

Now I'll admit I am using custom content & mods - all mods are up to date or proven working on either of the patch builds I have been playing on (1.63 & 1.67).
As far as I can tell all my .package custom content is stable and working as sims3dashboard is not flagging any of it as a potential conflict or corrupt so it MIGHT be a dodgy sims3pack installing something I don't want. So my first question is: is there a way to bulk check sims3packages in a similar manner to .package files?

Attached is both my Dxdiag & my most recent crash error files.
If someone can make heads or tails of both or either one and give me some advice on what to do it'd be very much appreciated.

I've tried all the standard such as a fresh install try to whittle down the amount of custom content I'm using, remove this and remove that but I still get crashes so yeah.

To summarise:
Is there a way to bulk check sims3packages to ensure they are fit for purpose and use? (similar to sims3dashboard)
Help with crash errors as attached.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Sprite.

Well, there is the Delphy's Custard which you can use to check what's inside your sims3packs: http://modthesims.info/d/390235

You can also use the CrashLogAnalyzer to check out your crash logs and see what's causing the crashes (it gives the correct cause most of the time): http://modthesims.info/d/416883

I'll try Delphy's Custard - only issue is I'm going to have to sort through 2500 + sims3packs, but I guess it's got to be done.

I should have also uploaded my two most recent crash logs from CLA, if not I will try again.

Seeing those latest crash logs, you definitely have a bad custom content problem in your hands. Unfortunately, that is something only you can solve by yourself. One thing that is also useful with problem files is the Process Monitor. I've used it many times: http://modthesims.info/wiki.php?tit...ackage_File_Lag

You could also check if you have anything of these installed: http://sims3.crinrict.com/badcc/en/BadCC_Clothing.html If you have any installed sims with bad cc, then you need to remove the sims entirely to get rid of the cc, as well, as they are tied to that sim file. http://findingbadccsims3.blogspot.fi/ ... https://asileesims.wordpress.com/20...-get-rid-of-it/

Personally I don't use sims3packs at all, unless it's absolutely necessary (store content, custom counters, patterns). I just convert all sims3packs to packages, which makes them a lot easier to organize and check through regularly with the dashboard for any bad files, conflicts, etc. You can use Delphy's Multi Installer if you're interested: http://modthesims.info/d/364038 ... http://sims3.crinrict.com/en/2011/0...o-packages.html Using package files also gives you the option to merge them together as single files and speed up your game that way. http://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/f...pic,9190.0.html
