Have you seen the version in this post? That's the one I have, and it works for me.
I've made some mods for The Sims 1 -- yes, The Sims ONE :-) -- which you can find at http://corylea.com/Sims1ModsByCorylea.html

Thank you for posting the link. Although I did recently manage to successfully purchase SimEnhancer, I needed to recover my system from a backup and, doing so, changed my System ID, so the unlock code no longer works. And I haven't received a response from its creator, so I was a bit annoyed. Ironically, I never used SE previously - not sure why, though I'm guessing the cost at the time - but it has become an invaluable tool, a program that I will probably use more than any other. So thank you, again!
