There's the androgyny set which I used to make a sort of gender neutral/non-binary sim, maybe that could be useful? But other than that, I don't know of much CC available to create transgender sims, unfortunately.

I've had plenty of pre-op trans* sims both FTM and MTF. They stayed pre-op since I wasn't confident enough to go delving into SimPE and risk their data. I used clothes, make up, and hair to portray the look. There's clothes and bodyshapes out there that help make it seem more legit, along with a couple mods like the everyone sits to pee mod but unfortunately there aren't too many tasteful dresses for originally male sims. I don't think that it'd be unreal for there to be facial hair enabled for originally female sims, but I haven't seen or heard anything about it.
If love is what saves all the creatures then why can't I hear them howl?

It's out there, but a lot of it's on GOS and therefore not currently accessible, a lot of it is MtF, and a lot of it won't be attractive for any particular sim. You may have to start creating your own. You can do a full transition via SimPE, changing the various elements in whatever order makes sense to you. I think there's a tutorial for it somewhere.
For starters, since Lilth won't be getting the surgery till she's grown, you can start off by having her dress butch, which you can do first with carefully-selected female clothing, then with male clothing that doesn't quite fit (changing the gender assignments in Wardrobe Wrangler, for instance), and work your way up, just like a real trans teen has to do. A lot of male hairstyles are also available for females, right here at MTS. Search under transgender, transsexual, FtM, and so on.
Ugly is in the heart of the beholder.

For boys wanting to become girls there's a load of stuff on Simmergirl. In fact, as far as I can see that's all that Simmergirl does. I've gone there for adult males who weren't really transgender or transvestite, but merely wanted shorter shorts than anyone seems to make for Sim men. The Simmergirl shorts with ordinary male tops look ok at the low resolution I play at, but it would really work better with Simmergirl female-looking tops.
There's also stuff by q3tbo here on MTS. I'm afraid I haven't noticed anything suitable for Female to Male though.

Entirely possible and easy to do. Just change the gender flag to... I think it's 0x03? Makes an item unisex (would have to double-check on a unisex item for the code to be sure) but I tested ages ago if beards and whatnot could be enabled for females and... they can.

Ah~ I've been waiting for something in the story to tell me a sim could be trans...never been able to find very tasteful MtF clothes though.
I've got one or two things on MTS, but most of my stuff is on my main site here:

I tried having a MtF transgender sim before. I downloaded some clothes from Simmergirl. It just didn't quite look right for me. So I left him a gay man instead. And eventually deleted the stuff from Simmergirl.

Some people prefer Gothplague's androgyny Sims .... I prefer Aquilegia's. It's a slightly modified version. The beauty of this shape is that it affects the top only .... you can get away with using normal separates for the bottoms. That gives you more clothes to mix and match.
(I deleted the link because these Sims are semi-Barbie, and I'm not sure I'm permitted to post it here. Am I?)
Unfortunately, most of the best outfits (IMO) ARE on GOS, but there might be enough on the Net to piece a bit here and there. There are a few here. Admittedly, it's harder to find FtM than MtF.
If I recall, one can also use the Insim to help make the transition complete, as well as Sim PE. (Both probably are doing the same thing.) There used to be a Insim menu item that allowed you to change a female to a male (so you can use male hair styles, clothes, etc.), and vice versa. I think it's still there.
And let's hope GoS comes back up soon. if I recall, I am not permitted to post a Box or Mediafire link containing the downloads I do have.

I honestly wish there were more tasteful dresses for FTM sims tbh. None of this super short skirt/stiletto/extremely thin bodyshape business. I mean things that actual females could/would/do wear, just modeled on a male body, like skirts and dresses with flats and things like that. There's such a severe lack of that kind of CC and it really disappoints me because I know for sure that none of the trans* OCs I would consider simming would ever wear most of the things that are available.

Yeah, Simmergirl meshes have bosoms even on teens - and what teen boy can get silicone shots? I need a lot of clothing choices for my transvestite fashionista, and I'm having to be real picky.
This, of course, is the sort of thing that drives one to learn to mesh and recolor.

Fully agree with that. Just as hard is simply finding everyday casual outfits that both can wear on the street .... not Gothy (though I like those and have a few), suits, etc .... I mean jeans and close-fitting (but not sexy) shirts. Again, I found a couple on GoS for the Aquilegia body shape, but not many.
This is an example of the type of shirt I wish there was more of in the Sims 2 world:

Simple. Ordinary. Everyday.
EDITED because I stood corrected .... the only dress I have for my androgynous males (AM and TM) is a full-length medieval gown.

Exactly. Something like that with a mid-length jean or cotton skirt with some ballerina flats would be a perfect outfit for a FTM trans* sim. I have plenty of gothy sims, but some of my trans* gals aren't gothic lolitas or into that kind of showiness, you know?

This is an interesting topic. I really like q3tbo's female clothes for males, but I haven't got any transgender sims as yet. I'm not sure whether I want to have any, because if I did, I would have to download lots of clothes for them, and I'm trying to keep my downloads to a minimum. If I had m2f sims I would end up wanting f2m sims aswell. It would be nice to see pics of people's transgender sims.

gazania, we really don't have many rules about links. Don't link to porn, pirated stuff, or stuff which is clearly inappropriate for a PG-13 audience... and that's about it. Unless the sims you want to link to are waving their cocks about or something, go for it, or if you're really worried then give the name of the site so people can google it.
Peni, silicon shots are unrealistic, but padded bras aren't too expensive for a teenager who's determined. Ofc, that does require the clothes to have fairly high necklines.
What I lack in decorum, I make up for with an absence of tact.

Knowing the stuff on Simmergirl, maybe like 1% of the stuff there that can pass as padded bras. :P

There's no separate place to change pronouns. You can easily do it in any storytelling you do, though. The pop-ups can just be rude people who won't accept her gender identification.

I really didn't like Simmergirl, because the males there didn't look male at all. They looked as if you might as well just have created a female sim. But, I was looking for clothes for a cross dressing sim, not a transgender sim, so I wanted him to still look like a male.
And it is hard to find cross dressing clothes without them being gothy (even harder if you don't want the breasts).
One of my favourite DLs that I stumbled across was here http://sims-islands.but.jp/2008/index2.html under adult male.
It was the red chinese dress for females converted for males. It even has versions with both breasts and no breasts. I use the no breasts version for my cross dressing sim's formal wear.
Edit: I also found this: http://mercury1999.blog37.fc2.com/blog-entry-107.html Took me ages to find a no breasts version.

So yeah, there's a way to change a sims gender after creation, yeah?
I wanted to find unisex clothes so this thread is a good one!

I have to admit I have never even considered having trans sims in my game. I'm surprised to see it pop up so often here (in threads like what did you do with these sims, etc.). I have straights, gays and bisexuals, but their gender stays the way it is.
I don't intend to be offensive by any means. I find it interesting that something I had never even thought about is done by so man others in their game.
