This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Why does deceased spouse disappear from family tree?
I've had this problem before. I have two couples without children and I had both of their spouses die and they end up disappearing in the family tree. Shouldn't it just be greyed out? The only way they'll appear is if they have children but I don't want them to have children. Is there a way to make them appear as deceased on the family tree without having kids?

The reason for it, btw, is because the game needs to set the newly bereaved sim as unmarried when their spouse dies in order that the sim can marry again.

I no longer come over to MTS very often but if you would like to ask me a question then you can find me on tumblr or my own site tflc. TFLC has an archive of all my CC downloads.
I'm here on tumblr and my site, tflc

So they just disappear on the family tree cause of that? That sucks cause then it looks like they never existed. :/

Till death do us part.

They will always be in your Sim's memories.
