Default WCIF Dive lots?
I see that there are several worlds with dive lots already in them, but I'd like to add a couple of dive lots to the custom world I'm playing in. Does anyone know of any dive lots up for download by themselves?

Unfortunately, you'll have to build you're own, because the game doesn't allow you to place Dive Lots from other worlds w/o crashing your game.
Here's a tutorial on how to make your own, though!

I don't understand. There are tutorials all over the place about adding dive lots from Isla Paradiso into other worlds.

I'm currently playing a version of Sunlit Tides with the Isla Paradiso dive lots on it.

My bad, I was under the impression that you couldn't do that, sorry ^^;

I found that when placing IP dive lots into Sunlit Tides there was problems. I managed to create about 6 or 7 dive lots, and placed the IP lots on them, but there was strange glitches such as sims swimming in mid air when approaching the lot. One of the lots was fine but the others suffered these glitches...

Thanks. Sorry for taking so long to respond. I loaded both of the dive lots 4amMist linked in my custom world. They both seem to dive fine, but I do have trouble with entering and exiting the lot at the surface of the water. Sometimes they swim in midair the way you describe, tizerist.

I'll probably leave the lots there for a while until my scuba diving sim gets tired of them. Then I'll remove them.

The problems you're experiencing from the imported dive lots, is explained in the SimsVIP tutorial that were linked in a previous post.

It's at the bottom of the page, along with information about which worlds has suitable water for dive lots.

"It is not advised that you save Diving Areas to the Lot Bin to share in other Worlds or with other players. There is a problem with the water level which causes Sims, boats, sharks, fish and the Scuba Buoy to float several stories from the sea."

There are a lot of steps in that tutorial, but once you have followed it through a few times, you will pretty much be able to build dive lots in your sleep.

Huh. I read several tutorials on moving the Isla Paradiso dive lots to other worlds, and I've done it successfully (though it's tricksie). I'll read through the tutorial on making them. and see if I can gain any insight. I'm not a very artistic builder, so I'm skeptical that I'd be able to make a dive lot I'm exciting to play in. But who knows.

This thread gave me some good tips for making dive lots from the bin work smoothly. http://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/f...p?topic=16588.0

I combined that with the instructions in the dive lot building thread about making sure the level of the dive lot floor under the buoy is such that the buoy is halfway submerged on the surface of the water.

From my testing so far, using a large negative number for setimportedterrainoffset (I used -15 or -20) along with adjusting the lot floor under the buoy has done it for me. I'll let you know if I have any troubles.
