This user has the following games installed:
Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
UC: Incorrectly marked EAxis content
I know that yeeears ago there may have been a tutorial for fixing this for the original disc versions, but none of my searching has found it and what advice I've found for bugs like this hasn't worked. I've uninstalled and started fresh several times, and what gets marked incorrectly always changes. In my latest install, all of the EAxis rugs are marked as CC, except, oddly enough, the catwalk pieces. I'm terrified I'll accidentally delete them when cleaning up my game and break it. It's also affected some random pieces of deco, but I don't know which because I have a terrible habit of doing massive download sprees that includes deco. However, I have exactly zero custom rugs, so, I dunno...
In the last install it was TSS clothes marked as Uni, FT marked as SSN, and BV with no markings whatsoever. I'm made sure I'm installing correctly, but as it's UC, I don't expect there will be a simple fix for this.
Most of the searches I do, end up finding fixes for CC, which isn't the problem. Any ideas?

If you have the Rugfix (http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=399650) or any other rug hack/mod that fixes rugs, it can potentially make the game think the items are CC. The file above has to be placed in the Bins folder in the game files to not show the star.
Some default replacements can also do this. Clean mesh/recolor replacements rarely does it, but if certain other resources are added into the file, the game thinks the items are CC, even if they're technically not meant to be viewed by the game as such.
If you don't have any CC, not even default replacements, then it's probably an actual bug. No idea how to fix that...
You might want to stay clear off the trash bin ingame, though. It's usually much safer to delete from the Download folder, anyway.

It almost sounds like you have either items or mods that is not setup for the UC @Gazelove
I got UC on my other computer and no mod or cc in there and everything is marked as it should be.

I don't think I have any mods affecting rugs specifically, but I'll check again. I'm less worried about accidentally deleting clothes since I never really do that.
But there's always something incorrectly marked, even on a fresh install with no mods or cc. :/
