Default How do I build a Castaway-styled house?
I have to say, I suck at building. And when I get a good idea, it's usually really hard to implement. I have UC installed.

Right now I am trying to build a Castaway-style house, on a sloped beach lot with a deck on pilings. You know, like this:

Only on a sloped beach lot. How can I use columns under the deck on sloped ground?
A link to a tutorial with loads of pictures would be immensely appreciated. I have googled and googled but I must be putting in the wrong keywords.

Thanks.

Its the foundation that has no side walls is all.

There is 3 foundation types, 1 has side walls, 1 has lattice and the last one only has a pole in the bottom middle this is the one you want to use.

You want to start on the highest part of the ground that you want the house to be on, and drag across from here. The deck itself will stay the same height but the support poles will go all the way down.

You can do this with any of the foundation types.

I use the sims as a psychology simulator...
