A mod for cameras in-game?
Hey I was wondering, recently I have been trying to find a way to use screenshots as pictures, unfortunately there does not seem to be a way and I am not seeing a mod or anything make it so. So I guess I am stuck using the camera in the game, but here is my problem: The camera by default requires a sim to be taking the picture thus I either can't take a family photo, or I need to make an extra sim with their only purpose of existing, being to play photographer for the family. Neither of these options sound vary pleasing, so I come to you guys today asking if there is a mod that will not limit the camera to the sim taking the picture or something that will allow me to take family photos that I can hang up in the house with everyone in them? Please reply as soon as you guys can, this is bugging me and quite disappointing at the moment.

Maybe try using this: http://linna.modthesims.info/download.php?t=579394
You can take a screenshot and then use that program to make it into a poster.

I tried it, unfortunately that thing did me no favors even though I followed the instructions, thanks for trying but it did not work for me and that was not exactly what I had in mind really anyways.

Your best, viable option is honestly to have that extra "photographer" sim take the picture. :\
Other than that, you could probably try the photobooths, though IIRC those are only for 2 sims at a time?
Come see my stuff at http://www.thesimsresource.com/artists/murfeel !! :)

You're probably right. Oh well time to make a photographer slave. I wish someone would try making a mod that gets rid of the thing with the in-game camera where you can't take a picture of everyone and one has to be behind the camera. Thanks for trying guys and to be far EA should of just implemented a screenshot to wall photo mechanic in the first place.

That would be amazing if EA expanded on the photography aspect and using screenshots the player takes that can be used as in-game photos. I'm not sure why the mod listed above isn't what you are looking for unless I'm misinterpreting what you want. A family portrait with all being present instead of adding a photographer Sim to do it?
Not too long ago I tried out this mod and is exactly what I wanted though it would be nice to have a selection of different frames. But I think I will have to learn how to do that a different way.
Did you download both? Because I think you need both to work.
PosterSet Loader v1.1 (This one goes in the mod folder)

Posterset Loader Studio (This one can go on the desktop and it opens the program to create the poster. Which once it is saved in your designated location, you put that .package file in the mod folder. I personally put it in the same folder as PosterSet Loader v 1.1)

Unfortunately it seems that it is not working for me, I am not sure what I am doing wrong, but it is just not working no matter what...
