Default Appropriate size for custom paintings?
As many of you who have Seasons know, this EP came with the option to add your own personal pictures to the Pictures folder, which I like as Alt-Tabing out of the game was getting a little bothersome. However, even though it comes with the options to 'crop' or 'fit' the picture into the frame, my pictures always get painted looking a little skewed.

Does anyone happen to know the 'perfect' size to make a picture so that it comes out looking exactly like it does outside the game?

I make all mine:
width: 250 pixels
height: 400 pixels

or anything with the same ratio (500x800, 375x600, etc)

I resize the pictures I use to exactly the same dimensions as the pictures used by Maxis, which are:

width: 156
height: 243

Using these dimensions, my pictures have looked great in game and have not become distorted

Thanks to you both. I now have a good guideline with which to make my pictures. A 5:8 ratio sounds pretty good.
