WCIF these mods to help make a town more medieval-like
Hi guys!I've been working on a 100% medieval world in the Sims 3. I've used Dragon Valley because of the existing rabbit holes, made all my sims, put all my lots down...
Now the only thing left is to deal with a few issues which stop my world from being truly medieval! I'm looking for up-to-date, TRUSTED mods that could help me with these issues:
- Disabling all cars, that's including things like taxis, carpools, police and fire department (I know this might be a little impractical but it's not like they had firemen running around with fire extinguishers back in medieval times!)
- A mod that will stop random townies from spawning in my town. I just don't want to have some random sim spawn in my little medieval village wearing the clothes from the Into The Future EP or something....
- A mod that will disable work clothes, if such mod exists. I feel that the standard work clothes are too modern and it's difficult to find decent alternatives... I'd like to be able to completely disable that.
Thank you in advance for all your input! I REALLY appreciate it <3

For no cars: http://nraas.wikispaces.com/Traffic You can turn off all vehicles including the deco taxis from Bridgeport and adjust the food truck and ice cream truck as well.
Story Progression can control all aspects of who moves and when, it's a little tricky as it's so huge, but it allows enormous control http://nraas.wikispaces.com/StoryProgression If that's too much, this might be an alternative, you have to register for it and the one below but it's totally worth it. http://simsasylum.com/tfm/index.php...nd-no-mermaids/
This one will take care of martial arts clothes and career clothes. http://simsasylum.com/tfm/index.php...career-clothes/
Really I recommend checking out all of Twallan's and Shimrod's mods, they fix so much.

I have a question about the mod for disabling cars.... I have tried to use the Twallan's Traffic mod. I am 100% sure I chose the right setting, and although my active sim indeed doesn't use cars to commute anywhere (they just run/walk), all the other sims in town do. I still see taxis and cars everywhere

If you have "Use cars for general routing" set to false, it might be you're seeing the deco taxis that show up with Late Night, to get rid of those, set "Traffic Delta" to -5 or so. That, along with setting max food trucks and max ice cream trucks to 0, seems to totally ban all vehicles from my towns. If they're still using cars, I don't know, maybe check out Nraas Go Here? I know there's a few additional options for vehicles there, but I haven't really played with them.

this default replacement is really no big deal but it brings more medieval/historic feeling to the game, so i dont want to hold it back from you ;-) Default Replacement: Toy Oven Accessoires

It's ten times easier using my No Cars mod instead if you simply want to disable everything, cars, brooms, bicycles, carpools, etc. (Not the IP boats though.)
