Default Dog Seems to be Afraid Of Door?
More often than not, my Sim's dog seems to stand in a corner, starts whining at the door, and gets an Uncomfortable moodlet. That particular door is locked to pets, but I did put in a pet door right next to it, so it's not as though the dog can't get outside on its own. And when I would ask her "What's wrong?", the notification is "[Dog] seems to be afraid of something. She just needs time to calm down." or something to that effect. And the moodlet goes away when she isn't standing in that spot. But again, unless directed otherwise or has needs that need to be filled, she'll just stand and whine in that corner, along with getting a Leash speechbubble above her head. And I do take her on walks, so I just don't understand why this happens. This has never happened in any other file with any other pet.

I'm very familiar of this issue. dogs in the game tend to be very annoying without the help of mods
so I recommend using those mods if you want to really enjoy dog as you should have if EA would have done this right:

- selectable pets mod - so you can check her needs

- Go for a Walk with Dogs will fill up Needs - so you can know for sure her needs are full after a walk

- Anti Fear Training (Pets) - so you can train your dog and gradually she'll stop being afraid of stuff

- UI cheats - so you can remove the stupid moodlet when there is no reason for it to show..

- I also use Search/Show sim info, this can tell you the dog's hidden traits, and what her fears are..
