You're talking about the family spindle on the left side of the screen that only shows household members. I was talking about the relationships panel where you can see relationships with sims who don't live on your lot (friend, best friend, crush, love, etc.). Right-clicking on the portraits in that section has never done anything in TS2. I remember visiting crowded community lots in Hot Date, seeing a friend, love interest, etc. in the relationships panel that I wanted my sim to interact with and being able to zoom straight to that sim just by right-clicking. It was so convenient not having to hunt all over a community lot to find a specific person.

@RoxEllen1965 : If you check my bottom line, you'll see that I *did* mention the relationships panel. Including that it makes sense that clicking there does not zoom in on sims.
Not having played Sims 1, though, I wasn't aware that such an option was available there. Nor did your previous post mention that.

I wish now that they had adapted the ability to change the map terrain of a neighborhood easily in game-instead of using either Sim City's mapping or replacing the terrain with the Hood Replace mod.

It would be so nice to put in new roads on the fly-and creating new places to put houses and other lots.
