I've been playing Sims 3 with mods installed for years and I haven't had a problem like this before. A few of the mods won't work no matter what I do. I have nraas' Careers mod installed, and the dancing career, the performing arts career, and the teen modeling career all work. However, I can't get the regular modeling career or the socialite career to work. I also can't get the cigarette mod to work, and I used to have that on my old laptop.

Any ideas on what the issue might be? My game is fully patched. I use windows, I have a Dell. I use Late Night, University, Ambitions, and sometimes Seasons, Pets, or Supernatural.

What's not working on the mods? Is the option not available at City Hall, is it grayed out? Are you able to select but your sim is not going to work?
Fully patched game.. are you fully patched to 1.67 or 1.69? Have you tried posting on the page(s) where the mod is and/or checked in the Discussion to see if someone else has had the same problem?
