Eeek! I've been avoiding this thread until I've caught up on the episodes, but meh, missed you guys too much.
That pic is total hotness! And yeah... kissing a bird... to each their own.
And totally agree; Alistair is fricking scary! He's just got this... constant "The only thing that I'll ever feel is satisfaction from hearing you scream in agony" vibe going on.

Tashi - I love that avatar!

EDIT:
Okay, completely watched the two episodes.
Death Takes A Holiday - What's with the Dean/Sam role reversal? I mean, the one who's supposed to lie and deceive is Dean, not Sam...

On The Head Of A Pin:
OMG. That episode is summed up by "OMG". Okay, SO saw the whole "there is something seriously wrong with the command centre" thing, but did not see the whole Dean being responsible for all this mess thing coming. And yeah... I SO knew Ruby was supermanipulating Sam, but ew, blood fetish. And Uriel turned out to be as much as a creep as he looked. I don't know how many angels he'd approached with his crazy plan, but I'm slightly disconcerted by the fact that only seven refused when he seemed to assured that there were lots of people on his side....

And honest to God, why does it seem that the only person on that show capable of giving a half decent pep talk is a Reaper?

Am I weird for thinking that Jensen totally rocked the suspenders and side part? Gawd, I love Dean's rugged masculinity, but the successful businessman vibe was a welcome change, and it was totally sexy. Made him look taller. The whole "nice boss" routine made me almost want to work for him. I had to chuckle a bit at the fact that, even when playing a different character and eating different food, he still had to wolf it down. Some things just don't change, I suppose.

"Save it for the health club, pal." LOL. Ah, a bit of Dean-ism transcends even an entirely different personality. I loved the detoxing. Have we known of a Sam Weston alias before? The name sounds oddly familiar, and it would be just like the producers to throw us a little bone like that. I love how Sam cornered Dean in the elevator and how creeped out Dean was. "You overshare." And Dean with no beer in his house (which was a very nice house, by the way)?! What is the world coming to?

Dean does research best- that was comical. I was so excited to see the Ghostfacers back! Didn't expect them. "Those useless douchebags that we hate- the Winchesters!" Okay, that did it, I was rolling. So sad how Dean described their life in such negative terms; it really puts the lonely life of the Winchesters into a different perspective. Bob (Bobby), Ellen and Jo (from the Roadhouse), going to Stanford, fiancee Madison... that was a perfect gimmick from the writers (and it totally proves that Bobby is the father that the boys should have been given).

The whole episode, my mind was screaming, "Trickster!" but I suppose I was wrong. The electricity in the ghost's fingers made me think djinn, too, although the real reason for the mystery was far better. I love how Dean Smith phased back into Dean Winchester- that was perfect. The ending scene was superb, and I hope that Dean listens to Zachariah and starts to man up. Not that he deserves to literally have the weight of the world on his shoulders, but that he's a righteous man who is fully capable of saving the world.

That was a really good episode, though I was pretty confused for a while at the beginning. I was almost positive that it was a Trickster, and the guy Sam was friends with was the Trickster. Then he stabbed himself with a pencil, and the confusion began. Sam's outfits made me sad this episode. The tucked in polo shirt? Yuck! Dean looked very sexy in the suit though, even though it was very different to his normal outfit choice.

I liked the linking to other characters in the episode. Like when Dean said his parents were Bob and Ellen, and his sister was Jo. I also loved the return of the Ghostfacers. They always provide excellent comic relief, especially with their hatred of the Winchesters.

Pretty disgusting scene with the security guard and the elevator. I squealed out loud with disgust at that, though I knew something like that was coming. The other elevator scenes were good though. The other scene which grossed me out was definitely the pencil in the neck scene. That made me cringe.

For all the Jared fans: I found this on LJ. He looks like a Greek Adonis, all tan and rippled and whatnot. His body is perfection *drools*. But I can't help but wonder... what the hell is he doing ? Asking for bird flu, perhaps.

That just made my day. (Just got back from school camp, haven't been online in a while)

Kailay, they only showed season 1 here in Estonia. But I guess it wasn't so popular and I'm not expecting them to show the others.

Haha, this episode was cool. At first I thought it was like a parallel universe/alternate reality or whatever until the losers khmmkmm cough ghostfacers mentioned Winchesters. But it all being just a "trick" from an angel, I definitely didn't see that coming.

I didn't really like the businessman Dean.(I mean the image, not personality) I like Dean THE Dean and business really doesn't suit him. Lol at the music taste though. :D

Funny how in this episode Sam was the one who was most eager for hunting ghosts and stuff when we know from the previous episodes that this isn't really what he wants to do anymore. And yes the clothes were horrible too. Haha at the Harry Potter saving us from the apocalypse remark. Wizard! Wheee!

I agree, PixCii- the elevator scene was quite grotesque. It doesn't particularly bother me, because it seems to come with the package when walking into a show about the supernatural, but sometimes I can't help but cringe. Sam's outfits made me sad, too (khaki pants ?), but I absolutely loved Dean's attire. If only he would dress like that all the time... the boys would look much more glamorous fighting ghosties in suits and ties, even if it is rather impractical .

Businessman Dean indeed wasn't THE Dean, but I enjoyed the change. I loved the way he phased back into Dean Winchester: "Why am I wearing a monkey suit? God, I'm hungry." This is why we love him so. Who else missed Castiel this time? I'm coming to expect him as a regular figure, it seems. I liked the episode (especially the ending scene between Dean and Zachariah), but other than that tiny tidbit, it seemed somewhat out of place. I was expecting a great episode packed with drama to follow last week's epic-ness, and although this was a good episode, it felt like a little bit of a letdown coming after On the Head of a Pin.

Haha, yeah. Dean's music taste was so funny.
I liked the repetition of the printing/photocopying/pencil sharpening whenever it showed Sam's workplace.

Glad to be of service . My allegiance lies with Jensen, but good lord, that picture is hawt *fans self*.

I'm excited for this week- the boys discover that a popular comic artist is depicting their lives in his comic strip and they track him down to confront him about it. Sounds like a funny episode .

New episode tonight ! I think we have a two or three week hiatus after this... darned hiatuses.

I had the weirdest dream about Jensen last night. I was riding the trolley in San Francisco and Jensen was on it, but all of the seats were full. Instead of offering me his seat like a normal gentleman, he offered me his lap! Naturally, I accepted and exploited the opportunity to be all over him and put my arms around his shoulders. Dream-Jensen has a dreamy body. I don't know what the hell I was doing in San Francisco, but I'm just sad I woke up... he asked me to come to the marina with him.

I just watched the preview for the new episode! I'm so excited. I always wake up early on my Saturday mornings so I can get to the computer and watch the new episodes. Supernatural is pretty much the only TV show I watch, so I think I'm allowed to have an overly ridiculous obsession with it :P.

Rabid, sounds like an ideal dream to me . Though I'm going to have to say I would prefer it was Jared if I had the dream...

It was a lovely dream, indeed.

Check out this link to a huge (SPOILERS ABOUND!) article about the show from EW magazine. It seems that our fears about a third brother are coming true... dammit, Kripke! I am SO not okay with this. Why ruin something good? Typical CW- throwing a wrench into a great plot that none of the fans (and sometimes not even the cast and crew) are on board with. This show is about the relationship between two brothers, not three. The boys should sell off the Impala for a two-seater so that the new guy can't tag along .

Excuse me for a moment.
(NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!)

They are SO not allowed to introduce a new brother! That's just...not right! Ugh! That is so not cool. Besides, he's not sexy enough to be a Winchester boy. The Winchester boys are pretty much sex-on-legs, so they can't introduce him. He's too much of a pretty boy for the series. Grr...Not happy with this. Not happy at all

(Hee hee. For once I'm the first person to write about the new episode :P)

"Behave yourself, would you? No homework. Watch some porn."

Oh, and when Sam was explaining to Dean about "Wincest". Ah, that was hilarious. The look on Dean's face was priceless. And when the publisher dropped her pants and showed the boys her matching tattoo. And the flowery bandaids. And the tofu burger. So many hilarious lines in this episode, but there was also an even amount of seriousness.

I have to say, this episode was excellent. And is it just me, or did Jared look totally sexy this episode? In fact, they (Castiel, Dean, Sam) all looked gorgeous this episode. Sam's clothing choices definitely improved from the last episode, especially when they were in the laundromat. I loved his shirt...

I felt so bad for Chuck though . Dean was really hard on him, especially when he slammed him into the wall. And then we Zachariah was saying that no matter what, they'd bring him back to life. Poor guy. Oh, and Lillith better keep her hands off of Sam...

Ugh it makes me sad all this talk of it ending, but I agree that a show should go out on top rather than just dry out. The finale sounds exciting though.

But wtf a new brother?!!? How can this be?! It's so weird and unnecessary, like when they killed off Jim in Ghost Whisperer. I don't think I like it, no matter how good-looking he apparently is!

LMAO I'm watching the Monster at the end of this book and I can't stop laughing rofl. That's some serious mocking of the fans of the show.

edit: don't know who the new guy is but he looks average. I don't really care if they introduce a new brother as long as he keeps me entertained.

good episode, by the way.

I agree, PixCii- the boys looked exceptionally hot during this episode. Dean's long coat at the beginning just killed me... now if only they would put him in a trenchcoat and reenact the Matrix, I could die a happy fangirl. The Winchesters must have gone shopping, because I didn't recognize those clothes. What an awesome episode- the entire thing was a jab at fans and the media. I love that the characters kept making comments about what an underground hit and how underappreciated the book series was- sort of like the television series . Oh, Kripke, I love your sense of humor. The irony killed me.

LOL at the tattoos and that entire interchange with the publisher. You can just tell that Dean was dying to say something and blow their cover. I loved the Vonnegut remark, too- who knew that Dean reads, let alone classic nihilistic literature ? Sam looked flabbergasted. Good for Dean and Chuck for calling Sam out on his behavior, too. It's about damned time. I had to laugh a little bit when Dean surprised Chuck at his house and went off at him. I shouldn't laugh, but sometimes Dean's anger is comical. The Winchester Gospel?! Wow, who knew the boys were so important. I think the scene between Dean and Cas at the motel was the best part of the episode- Dean never asks for anything, and the angels give so little back to him, but I love that Cas averted the system. He's fast becoming a better brother to Dean that Sam is.

Awesome episode- it was indeed humorous, but the serious part was equally as great. I'm dying to know what Chuck saw about the boys' destinies. I agree with what was said about the new brother, too- he's too much of a pretty-boy. He doesn't have the rugged good looks that Sam and Dean do- he looks like a Backstreet Boy.

I think what Chuck saw was the upcoming battle between the boys. I think he saw the ending. As in THE ending. I'm afraid one of the boys has to die and truth be told no matter how much of a liar and douchebag Sam can be at times, he's still dear to me as is Dean. And I CANNOT take sides on this battle. I don't want to lose either one of them so don't you dare do this to me or any of the fans, Kripke. Just let them ride off into the sunset together like back in the good ol' days and we'll all be happy. I already lost Kyle XY I can't lose my Dean or Sammy too.

I had a dream a few months ago where Dean had big white wings and Sam had big black wings. There was a huge hole in the floor and Dean fell through, but Sam flew after him to catch him. Which was sweet. I have a feeling like I'm becoming the next Winchester prophet lmao.

And I completely agree with Dean on Wincest. It's sick!

I liked the scene with Cas and Dean at the motel. It was one of those times where Dean shows his true emotions, which seems to be a lot more rare nowadays. Plus, Cas was being such a good friend (coughbrothercough) during that scene. A much better brother than Sam has been lately.

Ugh! I just watched a preview for "Jump the Shark" (the episode where the new brother gets introduced) and I really don't like how he looks. He is far too pretty boy for this family. The boys seem to be in some sort of trouble as well, especially Sam .

I totally agree! It is quite unnecessary! And it is exactly like when they killed Jim off! I dislike Ghost Whisperer very much because of that now! It is just stupid!
Anyway, back to Supernatural. That just is unbelievable. By the sounds of it, most fans do not like the idea of another brother. It could be interesting, though. I hope they atleast make something of him, or an interesting plot, and not just some dude that follows them around.

Okay, totally vetoing the idea of a third brother; three's a crowd, anyone?

The scene with Cas and Dean in front of the motel was awesome, you could just tell how desperate Dean got when he just turned to God - I mean, after the trials the angels have put him through, you get the idea that he's got too happy with their boss - and Cas's face when he was like "Yeah... archangles... now you know why I can't get involved *wink, wink*" = love!

And Sam explaining Wincest to Dean!!!
Lol, Dean trying not to argue with Sam "ARE YOU.... It frustrates me when you say such reckless things..."
Again, it's really, really illustrative of the cracks in the boys' relationships - they really are drifting away from each other. And it doesn't require demons or angels pulling them in different directions, but just Sam's need to be secretive and Dean's growing inability to trust him.

Best like ever: "I AM THE PROPHET CHUCK!"
Best conversation:
Dean: A prophet? This guy?
Cas: You should have seen Luke.

Oh, and the "Oh, you're still here. You're not a hallucination" - lol, how many fangirls want to say that for real?
