This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Wardrobe doesn't work
Recently, the wardrobes where clothes are visible (eg the sliding door ones) are not selectable to change clothes. Sims are able to woohoo in the walk-in ones but not change clothes and for those with mirrors they can change their appearance, etc, but not change clothes. This has happened after downloading some custom content and mods. Is a mod like casual clothes for work responsible? How do I find out which custom item it might be?

You will need to remove them 1 at a time to see if it is the one.

You could try the HCDU program and see if it can help. http://www.simwardrobe.com/

Often it isn't the mod itself, but what it might be clashing with; so the action of two mods together. Each mod by itself may work perfectly fine. Sometimes changing the load order will fix an issue other times you either have to remove one or find other ways around a problem if you desperately want to keep both.

Zero conflicts detected. I'll try removing some cc and see what happens.

Just as an update, when I removed the wear any clothes pregnancy mod, the wardrobes went back to normal.

Do you have Inteen?

I no longer come over to MTS very often but if you would like to ask me a question then you can find me on tumblr or my own site tflc. TFLC has an archive of all my CC downloads.

If that is Squinge's mod then it was clashing with something because many of us use it.

No I don't have Inteen. The only other mod I recently downloaded regarding clothes was the wear normal clothes to work. I wonder if the order I installed made a difference. I removed that one but still had the wardrobe problem. I haven't tried reinstalling either of them yet.

The wear anything mod can occasionally make options disappear from wardrobes for some sims, particularly female adults.

I have the same issue on some wardrobes, but the AL walk-in closets have never quite been right in my game. I'm not sure exactly what the mod clashes with, because I don't get any errors, it's just a matter of options disappearing for no apparent reason. It doesn't bother me, since I use a clothing mod (the Insim Wardrobe adjuster) for nearly all wardrobe functions.

Putting a Z in front of the name of the mod, and putting it directly in the Downloads folder (no subfolders) can fix some issues, because it makes the mod load last.
