This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default SimPE Not Working?
I'm totally new to SimPE. I've learned how to create a pose and follow the steps of xxbrokenemoangelxx's video. I've done everything up until 'get GUID' and I get caught with an error message. I cannot press 'Register Object' and I've tried looking for the username I've created on their site, but I don't think it's there. I don't know why it's happening but I've done research and everyone says the sit is not working? Honestly I don't know how to work with GUID either, I don't have any and I don't know how to get them. Is someone having the same problem right now?

The GUID database is out of order at the moment.

Read these two:

http://honeywell-mts.tumblr.com/pos...e-guid-database

Since you're new to SimPE I'm guessing you aren't registered over at the SimPE site. You may be able to register at the German version, but don't count on it.

GUIDs work with hexadecimal, counting 00-09, then 0A-0F, then 10-1F, 20-2F, and so forth, and there are a few billion different combinations (4,294,967,295, to be exact), so technically it's difficult to stumble upon a used GUID, but it's a possibility. If all else fails, you can use a calculator to find a combination you can use: http://www.binaryhexconverter.com/d...o-hex-converter (or just randomly make an 8-digit number out of the numbers 0-9 and letters A-F, but I do advice you to choose a high number, as the last GUID block I registered just a couple of weeks ago had 6 spaces of letters already). Hex numbers usually look something like this: 0x008F71FF (this is the last number of my GUID block, so you'll want to choose a much high number than that, because GUID blocks are from what I can gather assigned in order). If you make random GUIDs, keep track of them in a document, so you don't re-use them.

(Added some info above).

People have had some troubles registering, but you can make GUIDs easily without the SimPE site. The GUID database is just a means of ensuring that people don't re-use existing GUIDs.

Basically, make a random Hex number (read above), write or paste it into the GUID text box, and do the next step in the tutorial (update, commit, and so forth). As long as you keep track of the GUIDs you should be fine. If you go one digit up each time it's easier to keep track.

I and others also have had problems with the "get GUID" in SimPE. several recent threads about this in this section posted before this thread.
