These screenshots make me wish there was a way to play this in some sort of head gear
so that the world would surround me, and I could pretend I was there living inside it.

The details are amazing. Sorry to gush, but I am in AWE of the talent,
and so impressed with the work you folks have put into this.

Thank you for your concern Tizerist I lost everything that I did that day (landscape, wallpapers, all half walls top CASTing...well all CASTing in general:D)
But everything is alright now I finished it again (almost:P)

Thank you pj The colors are still a question as I have to wait till we decide on the lighting mod. But apart from that I consider this lot finished. (Well to be honest I still play with the idea of starting over and making it better but I dont know how so...it will stay this way until I find some inspiration)
Your house is completely finished and is standing on its place in the Shire

I am now working on a castle for Gondor but it kind of looks more like a hybrid of Disney and a missile base...Not sure how I managed to create something like that...:D

Default Tower issues
Hi guys I am here with my "hybrid" creation:P

I cant decide between these two "tower tops"


Which one is better up to you?

It will be on the top level of Gondor but we are having some issues with the lot there so I am building in a different location until we manage to fix it. The lot is raised strangely after placing it there and the "setimportedterrainoffset" cheat doesnt help.
Another problem is that the lower part of the castle appears much darker on that lot so it doesnt match the rest of Gondor.

I don't know much about Gondor or LOTR, but in my opinion the tower tops on the right picture fit better in Gondor. They remind me more of medieval castles than the tops on the left picture, which make me think of minarets.

About the lower part of the castle, I've had the same problem with one building in Uranesia, what I did was simply to make the darker part lighter until both colors coincided.

I feel like the one on the left is more sympathetic to the overall design! Especially if you're trying to go with the aesthetic from the movies. Minas Tirith in the movies always gave me byzantine vibes, and those domes go with it a treat.

Actually, I had been preferring those tops on the right. But after googling to look at images of Minas Tirith, I see several slender domed towers.

So my vote is with the small domes. Best case would be if the domes themselves could be made close in colour to the stone towers they sit on.

I like the small domes and i agree with tswokawe that they should match the colour of the towers.

Thank you for your opinions guys I decided to use the round ones in the end. I will try to find a roof recolor that would match the towers

Are all these various bits of CC going to be optional, as in individual files? Or done in the Nilxis way, like world-exclusive recolours?
Not sure I'll need all of it, although it sure is authentic.

Mhm, well it is a good question. I haven't decided yet. I would say the elven build set is definitely a must install since a lot of lots depend on its columns and such :-) Would you prefer to have it as individual files instead of 1 merged file?

I would recommend uploading two packages, merged and individual. The worst thing is trying to remove an unwanted piece of CC from a merged package.

This is so cool, and a brilliant use of sculpturify.

I love that the gate is grand, but still rustic.

edited to add: OMG, I just realized those lamps are hanging from the sculptures. I thought they were in the arch.
I love the magic of them. Perfect.

Thank you for the feedback guys Unfortunately the horse sculptures dont work We tried all kinds of things to make it work but it didnt help

Here is a current state of Gondor with a new flag by Pj. You can see the flag only on the gate now but there will be more
