This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default UC Crashing Unexpectedly?
So, whenever I go to have a wedding party, my game immediately crashes after my sim is done scheduling the party. And sometimes it even freezes. At first I thought the whole game was bugged, but playing on other households I'm completely fine. I never had wedding parties on my UC game yet until now, and whenever I call to have a wedding party my game crashes. My game has been running smoothly ever since I downloaded it, and to see it constantly crash after scheduling a party is odd. Is anyone else having this issue? Or is it just me?

Hmm, have you had any other parties? Visited really busy community lots? Are you using any special hacks or CC for the wedding?

I have had other parties with no problem at all. I'm not using any hacks/CC either. And I barely visit community lots, only when going on outings, buying clothing/cell phones/portable games/MP3 players for my sims or just to kill some time at random lots. But I barely go to CL's. I moved my household of two sims out of the lot to see if it was the lot bugging, but it wasn't, it's happening at the second house too. I just don't understand why it's crashing all of a sudden, because a wedding party is not much different than the other parties.

Have you checked your neighborhood with the Hood Checker to see if it is corrupted in any way?

Is it just those two sims that have the problem?

What I lack in decorum, I make up for with an absence of tact.

How do you open the Hood Checker? And I did a test with another household and I was completely fine, there was no problems at all. So it can't be the neighborhood, which is Belladonna Cove.

I did a test with another household to see if the neighborhood was corrupted, however I was successful having a wedding party on another household. I don't understand how one household could be corrupted like that. I've never had that happen before where I was unable to have parties on a specific lot.

Only thing I can throw at it is have you deleted the cache files yet and try it.

Have you gave them cell phones and if so sell them and then try the party.

Sounds like it might be a stuck token or something similar. Personally, I'd have a look at the lot with the batbox. If it comes to it, moving the family out and back in might clear it.

I no longer come over to MTS very often but if you would like to ask me a question then you can find me on tumblr or my own site tflc. TFLC has an archive of all my CC downloads.
I'm here on tumblr and my site, tflc

I have given the one sim a cell phone, however I used the landline when having the party, and the sim that called to have the party didn't have a cell phone. I'll have to delete the cache files and see if that works tomorrow.

I would also get both of BO's mods

Quote:
Cleaner Gameplay
•BO - No Sim Loaded: Remove a lot of junk controllers, tokens, and other broken stuff, without the need for a Batbox
•BO - No Trash Memories: PREVENT gossip and silly repetetive memories from being generated

I moved them out and back in to the lot, and it worked. Thanks!
