Gen/townified CC safe to delete?
I recently started to clean my CC folders and started to wonder is it safe to delete CC eyes and skin tones that are gen/townified? In my main save i think i want to stick with mostly default replacement stuff so my sims don't have unmatching eyes mostly. Any help is appreciated! <3

If you delete geneticized eyes/skins that sims are currently using in your neighborhood, those sims will seem to revert to the S2 skin, and will use the eyes painted on the skin they currently have (this is true for deleting regular custom items, too). They'll have broken genetics, so any kids they get in the future will also have broken genetics, unless fixed.
It doesn't really matter whether the items are towniefied, because if they're gone, they'll no longer be randomized for new sims/townies.
You can fix their genetics with SimPE.

Skin (and eyes) - http://www.insimenator.org/index.php?topic=47368.0 (right-click and open the pictures in a new tab, then they're a bit better)
If you leave the sims alone (kill them off or just never let them have kids), the broken genetics won't spread.
Another alternative if you want to keep some of the items but don't want them geneticized/townified is to edit them into regular custom items again, so you have more control over them.

It's "safe" as in won't break your game, but if any sims in your neighborhood have geneticized eye color or skin tones it will mess up their sim DNA. You'll have to go in with SimPE and change their skin/eye color values to point to a different skin/eye that is in your game (default/EAxis or a different CC skin/eye).
Here are the values for the default/EAxis skins:

Start with those you want to have children, and go from there.
It's often easier to locate the sims as long as the items are in your game, because if you take them out and run your game, it's likely they'll disappear from your sims, and then it can sometimes be difficult to recognize the sims (CAS cc sometimes is a pain like that).
