Makeovers
I apologize if a thread like this already exists. I've heard a lot of people saying they make over lots and Sims when they play the game, so I thought about making a thread where you can post them. I made over my Sim's university dorm so it would look more realistic:What makeovers have you done?

If you were being really realistic, there wouldn't even be a kitchen. There would just be dining halls, and then the students have to wait in giant lines and eventually give up and go back to their room and eat lukewarm ramen.

Oh, that first photo brought back such fond memories of evil little "Pretty in Pink" Ashley. Although one time she was a fairy, and totally annoying.

~~raises her hand~~ I have fond memories of doing that. My roommate had a popcorn popper and I had a rice cooker. We made some awesome meals in it Ramen was easy - take one of those wide mouthed kettles, throw in the water, throw in the ramen and voila... soup's on. 6 of us girls used to take turns having this "food party" in our rooms when the cafeteria was serving pyucky (in our opinion) food - we'd blow the fuses and had to ask the hall monitor to reset it saying we were doing makeup and hair styling sessions and plugged in too many things at once - we weren't allowed to cook food in our rooms. Those were the days

I alter a lot of the game's tombs to use the very cool, but largely unused "tomb type" debug option on the tomb room markers. There are only two places in the game where it's used by default - the Pyramid of the Burning Sands uses the "fire" type for each room, and I believe there is a single room in the Pyramid of the Sky that uses the "Water" type. So I alter a lot of the tomb room markers in various tombs to use different types; i.e the Sphinx to "magical", the Great Pyramid to "death", the Hot Springs in Shang Simla to "water", etc. The related moodlets each type gives don't have any mood effect but I still find them cool and atmospheric. I also tend to alter or add some things to tombs to make them just a little more interesting or pretty. There are a few tombs that appear to be unfinished, so I like to get creative.

FWIW, most of the dorm rooms that I've lived in (current Uni student and RA) have kitchens, just not nice kitchens. Think microwaves crusted with stuff, trash cans that never get emptied, and sinks full of other people's dishes. My current building doesn't have toasters, because they're a "fire hazard."

Well, my dorm actually has a kitchen on every floor. But we have unlimited meals at the dining hall so it would be stupid to buy one's own food all the time. But if you want to bake cookies now and again you can use the kitchen here.

The industrial oven from the Bistro plus Ani's mod to fix it make my campus dining hall work. Well, mostly work.

TS4: Where adult sims make Angry Poops.
Which game is made for the juvenile minded?
