Default Recoloring?
This may sound dumb, but I was wanting to make a set of onsies (using the maxis base) that have disney characters on them, is this considered recoloring or is it something else, entirely. Thanks everyone!

Moved to Bodyshop Recoloring.

Recoloring is when you create a new texture for an existing mesh. Think of a mesh as a cardboard box (or some other 3D object) and the texture is the gift wrap paper or printed design that covers it.

"Recoloring" or "retexturing" mean the same thing in this context. You are making a different visual appearance for a 3D shape. The basic onesie shape would be the mesh and the texture would determine if it's red, blue, striped, polka-dotted, with Disney characters, etc.

I don't mind if you call me "MSD" or something for short.
