This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Extended Family Mod + Inlaws relationships.
Hi,
I have Faiuwle's extended family mod which is great however I wanted to start a relationship between my sims husband and her brother but all they can do is family kiss. I know its because of the mod but is there anyway to work around this and still keep the mod?

I guess the only way would be to break the family ties with SimPE (since it's the (modded) family ties the game limit is going off).

Have you tried it with both sims? I had a sim who only had the family interactions with her mother-in-law's brother (so she thought of him as an uncle I guess), but he had romantic interactions open with her. I don't use extended family though, so it might be different for you.

Have testing cheat enabled and select one of the sims and right click on the mail box and set romantic relationship with the other sim.

When I press on the family ties in SimPE, nothing happens for some reason? One sim was able to access romantic interactions but they couldn't actually carry them out. I'll try the postbox thing. Thanks for the suggestions!

I ended up contacting Faiuwle and she told me how to do it in SimPE which is great
