Default Tiny house from NL, Is it changed too much?
I've redone the tiny house/home/that 1 floor house without foundation in the lot bin from NL, and now I'm worried I've changed too much for it to count as Maxis makeover, so did I change too much? or does it still resemble the original enough to fit June's theme?

also the furniture other than the kitchen and bathroom fixtures won't be there in the upload it only there to make sure the floor plan has enough space

edit: keep in mind I accidentally took the picture of the floor plan from the back of the house in the after pictures, while the before picture where taken from the front

Well it ain't tiny any more - whether it would work for the theme, why not try? You wouldn't lose anything by it and it might be accepted.

I no longer come over to MTS very often but if you would like to ask me a question then you can find me on tumblr or my own site tflc. TFLC has an archive of all my CC downloads.
I'm here on tumblr and my site, tflc

How much you change a Maxis house is up to you. I prefer to leave Maxis house footprints exactly as they come unless I am fixing an issue, because I like to 'see' the house. Other people like to make them look nothing like the original. I think there is a place for both kinds of makeovers. Main thing is, are you happy with it? If so go ahead and upload.

Looks like you kept the 'footprint' mostly the same - added a second floor and rearranged the rooms. I like it! Def. not tiny anymore - but VERY livable! IMHO this fits the June theme just fine. Good luck

Read the description of requirements for the June theme. Since you didn't change the footprint, I think it'll probably qualify.

I have two makeovers up with the June badge in my collection without changing the footprint. The original post was confusing on the wording so I asked about that on the thread. Karen told me later down the thread that how I do makeovers was fine for the theme.

Okay I am really tired of this board not showing replies! Neither Peni nor Cat's reply showed up. I think I mean something more than other people when I say footprint. I mean sidewise shape in that as well as overhead.

In real estate jargon, "footprint" means the shape the house makes on the land. It's a long time since I worked for the appraisal company, and nobody ever gave me definitions of the terms I was transcribing, but I believe that a house with a paved driveway and a pool out back would have a different footprint than a building with the same floorplan, no pool, and a gravel driveway. I'm afraid I have no idea whether a second story that overhangs the first would change the footprint or not.

In the sim world "footprint" is the first floor out line only, no matter how many stories added to it as long as the first floor stays the same. (At least to me that is.)

When I say footprint - I am talking about the outer walls on the ground level. Pools and driveways (etc) I consider as landscaping and NOT part of the footprint. Height makes no difference. IMHO
