Isn't that so frustrating? I've loved Greek mythology, studied it diligently, and read upon it extensively since I was three; it was to me what dinosaurs are to other children. I saw Percy Jackson and Clash of the Titans, and even though the action sequences in both were awesome, I kept wanting to scream, "That's not how the story goes!" The fact that Perseus didn't end up with Andromeda in Clash of the Titans was utterly ludicrous. And there was nothing about Casseopeia being made into a constellation! And nothing about Athena giving Perseus the mirrored shield... I could go all day.

Anyway, back to the matter at hand. No, I hate cold coffee.

I was the kid who read The Odyssey at ten (in translation, lol) and studied Greek and Norse mythology extensively, then I hear kids talking about things that never happened in real mythology! Grrrrrr. TPBM is a brunette.

The movie made me really upset because it took out so much of the mythology in a weak attempt to appeal to broader audiences. The books were great, I loved the modernizing of the gods, it was quite funny but I'll always prefer the original text (or a translation thereof) TPBM is still in school.
