May I ask, what is that thanked button. It says "You have thanked 1 times". But I didnt upload anything. And it is kinda overlapped by messages ui. |

Hmm, are you seeing that on all pages? The Thank icon is a bit weird, but also that PM counter is an old one which we don't use any more, so it shouldn't show up any more. I dunno what's going on with the thanks, the site doesn't appear to think you have any. Maybe it's just decided to be friendly and give you a thumbs-up.

The "thumbs-up" means that you have "thanked" someone for a "download." I don't have any uploads but I have "thanked" 82 times!

Now to speak of an old PM counter, it does not always display amount of messages properly. I was wondering of it a day before. |

I'm having the same PM counter and the thanks icon, too. It says that I've thanked two times for weeks if not months now (can't remember when it appeared but I'd say months). |

Oh, one more strange thing with UI. When I mouseover the bottom part of a page it becomes underlined. |

The underlining is deliberate. Which theme are you using?

Oh. This is one of the most annoying deliberate things I've seen on the internet except for porn ads. The theme is standard... I suppose. What exactly is called "theme" in here? It is usually color styles and such. |

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you'll see a dropdown on the bottom left that says Style: and then has the name of the theme you're using. I'm pretty sure you're using Blue Game Style since I am, and your pic above looks like my screen. |

Yes, that was the standard theme when I was registered. |

If this is the old PM counter, then I have it too. I also just noticed that the thanks icon is overlapping it along with the "number of times your files have been downloaded" icon. However, they are displaying correct numbers. |

The underlining isn't deliberate when you move your mouse down there... it's an HTML thing. I'll have a look and see if I can fix it. |

Okay I think I fixed it? Also, the "old" PM counter isn't "old" - it's just the one that most people see when they have 0 unread messages. I'll add some padding-bottom so it doesn't interfere with the Thanked icon (which, for non creators shows how many times you thanked somebody else. For creators, it's the other way around).

The incorrect Thanked count is definately a bug - the database shows you have thanked 429 times, but the profile only shows 1. I'll add this to my list of things to fix. As for the PMs - I don't see a problem there, you have 2 PMs, both of them read. |

PM counter is ok right now, but I've had a moment when it was stuck with 1 while both folders were empty, also it does not always show me new unread messages. |

Oh, that explains it. I think the last time I had 0 unread PMs was probably in '06. If the counter gets stuck, it's usually a caching thing which fixes itself after a while. If not, you can try using this link to reset it: http://www.modthesims.info/private.php?do=rebuildpm |
