Hello everyone,

So I started playing this wonderfull city and I absolutly love it. The feeling is great and there is a lot to discover.
But there are a few rooting issues. Nraas Overwatch reports like 3-5 stuck Sims per simhour. My townie-sims get stuck for no apperent reasons (in the middle of a bridge, right in front of their homes etc.)
Because of this they are constantly missing work.





Of course I know that this world isn't done yet - I just wanted to give you guys a little feedback.
Please keep up the great work!

I have noticed that the sun tends to set at 9 am and then its dark throughout the day, was this intentional?

Yeah I noticed this too! I tried downloading a mod which changed the sunset/sunrise times [http://modthesims.info/d/541811] but it's had no effect and I don't know enough to try edit the world's INI files

How in the world have I never come across this before? Absolutely stunning! I've always wanted a Sim version of my country <3 And I've always wanted to roadtrip to Rio too, so now at least my sims will be able to live there lol
But seriously, amazing work. Very realistic, and not in an uncanny valley kind of way, like it's very simmish and convincing at the same time (IK, I'm the worst at expressing my thoughts)
Also, I died over the unfinished bridge and the fact that the criminal workplace is a bank I've never seen anything so accurate

The world is almost finished, but has gotten a little too large for my poor old laptop (and I haven't installed expansions on my desktop!)

So for now the world has to wait for a bit- the next iteration will probably require fewer expansion packs (weeding out the ones I don't need), have fewer lots (faster to run) and will use some CC to fill in the gaps!

Won't less EP's mean less variety in terms of furniture, doors, windows etc? You sure that's a good move? And I don't think this has too many lots either.

To be honest, sometimes I'm just using an object or two from the expansions- which is hardly worth listing in the description.

The world has around 125 lots and for some reason my laptop has issues running it (and it's a gaming laptop too)- I'd like to drop it down to around 100 lots, especially in some of the problem areas (i.e. around the bridge and downtown areas where there's a high density of lots).

Did I miss something or the lighting is kind of messed up? Like it looks really dark when It's daytime and bright at night o.0 Is it just for me? It only happens in Sao Paten (V3 here, haven't tested other versions).

Hello. Sorry if there are any errors, it is not my language and I used translator help.
I installed the world and I've played a little bit. I installed V3.

I have problems with the lot Base Camp. The Sims can not enter and pass through the outer doors that are seen as locked. I tried to change the lot type to "Allowed Visits" and still have problems.
Other than that, the world works very well for me. No lag, and so far I have not experienced any important routing problems.

I have made editions for my personal use. I do not like rabbit holes of the game in basements so I added custom rugs according to the links below.

My sugestion is do use it in next version.

I am aware that I am reviving a thread that's been dead for 1,5 years, but I just downloaded Sao Paten and may I say: WOW. I have never seen such a world with so much character. You can see the amount of creativity and effort put into it in every single building, every single road, every little detail. I must say this is the best custom world I have ever seen. (and I have seen some great worlds!) The world is packed with beautiful lots, all with character, and oh, the spectacular views. I think I'll get NRAAS traveller just to send my sims on vacation here. Just wanted to say congrats for this magnificent, outstanding piece of work. It is truly a masterpiece.

I just downloaded this about a week ago. Gorgeous world but so big I had very slow loading of the world and lots and had some lag playing. I play on an i7 and usually never have problems.

The world is probably at the upper end of what a detailed large world could be- the reason why I ended up choosing a smaller world for Boroughsburg.

Lessons learnt!
