If I knew what your goal was I could be more helpful. Such as are you going for a particular set or just the individual items you like form sets, are you going to use the daily deal to get a set, so I know to help you get the items in that set before it come up to get it for free.

Mostly just after individual items from sets, apart from the few complete sets on the wishlist. One personally doesn't see a reason in getting content when it won't be used. But do rest assured to those that gifted items, they are being used.

Take off all the ANIMAL Abound sets on your wish list as you can get them for free... add back to your wish list ONLY enough of the out door set individual items to get it the GREEN DOWNLOAD button... when you get that and download you might have to log out and back in and then you should be able to get the the collections the link mentions.
How do you know how many items you need. I can't see what the set cost as I own it, but easiest way is to pick enough items to just about equal the cost of the set at their individual price. Maybe a few less. As you can always add another if you don't quite get there. ( I would be willing to gift you a few of the individual items from that set to help you get the cascade to work)

DO NOT HAVE SOME ONE gift you the whole set outright as it will then NOT give you the discount.

This will NOT work in your favor if you are gifted the playground set.

You can however be gifted items from the Animals abound Playground set to get the CYS cost for the set down to 0, giving you the green down load button, and then allowing you to do the rest of the cascade.

This would allow the points people have to gift go a lot farther as each gifter could give as little as a 25 simpoint item and still help you get over 1764 simpoint worth of items on your wish list. As it is now some one would need at least 360 to just get you one set.

I think it would be fun to figure out just how many and which items of the outdoor set one would need gifted to get the cascade started.

When it comes up on the daily deal go to the SET PAGE not the DAILY DEAL page to get the CYS discount. You should have a green download button. Hit that button and you will own the set, Don't and when it goes off sale it will be back to the regular CYS price for you.

On rare occasion if the Chicken Coup is on sale the same week it comes up in the daily deal it somehow messes with the CYS price and will be a few simpoints instead of free.

HarVee downloading that set when it is on the DD will give you several items on your wish list for free
