Animal life? Is this a fake?

Just saw on TS3 page on facebook that this is a fake...but looks pretty real to me...what's your views?

It doesn't to me. On the very bottom, the Sim holding the cat looks like a TS2 Sim, and all the others are just posed with fake animals glued on.

the pose where the sims is holding the cat is the same way that sims hold babies in the game so someone had a sim snuggle their baby and just placed a cat picture on that. Also, the sims with the parrot is just brushing off her shoulder (my sim is neat and does that all the time) and someone just put a bird picture there to make it seem like they're interacting. If its not a fake, I will be pretty suprised. Also, the horse looks a little wonky, like its out of place with the rest of the graphics. Just my opinion though. If its is real...WooHoo!! If it is real, EA needs to hire someone else to do their cover designs, this is amateur. Not to mention the chick with the dog doesn't look like a TS3 sim... More like something off of Second Life, and the one with the cat screams TS2...

It just looks like a decent photoshop job to me. Not good, just decent...

It's 100% fake. The ESRB rating on the bottem lefthand corner would mean that the ESRB has already gone through it. Seeing as how the ESRB does not have the rating up for any game past the sims 3 for 3DS, it's fake. Sorry guys. D:

Most of the picture of sims are from Sims 2 Pets, the girl with the chihuahua was the downloadable Hilary Duff from Sims 2 Pets. However I'd still love this EP

This is an obvious and extremely unconvincing fake. The simple employment of some basic logic easily reveals it as a fake: It is a box for a product which doesn't exist. If the product doesn't exist, the box does not exist. Therefore, it is fake.

That picture of Hilary Duff is downloadable content from TS2.
Of the women with the cats (the redhead) and the man with the dolphins are from TS2, wearing basegame and BV clothes respectively.
The policeman with the snake is from the WA box art.
The other, darker, women with the cats seems like that cat has been rather badly grafted on to her leg with photoshop.
So yeah, definite fake.

Looking at the bottom picture more closely, that is definitely a Sims 2 picture. That outfit is not in Sims 3. I could really use that long top and leggings outfit right now, enabled for maternity. :)

The title should have given it away. I know EA is a little iffy on imagination, but you cant just end everything with the word life lol. As others have pointed out, there appears to be sims of the S2 era and apparently Hillary Duff on the cover. Definitely fake.

Even though this is fake, I do have to say that it is a pretty good photoshopping job, even if the sims are from TS2. I really, really, really hope that something like this comes out soon, and that horses are included.

Why haven't we gotten any kind of announcement on the next EP yet? It should be out in late April/early May, and it seems like we always knew about the next EP at least 3 months ahead of time. I hope they haven't delayed releasing the next EP because of Medieval. I'm not interested in that game at all and am tired of hearing about it.

But Medieval doesn't come out until next month, right? It would seem kind of stupid of them to not announce the next EP and therefore not do any press for it until 1-2 months before its release. I really hope this doesn't mean they're planning on delaying the next EP because of this.

Why not? WA is way better than BV was. LN is way better than NL was and that means TS3 is becoming better than TS2 and, when all the EPs have come out, TS3 will be a phenomenon, even bigger than TS2 was. With pets and all that. I'm sure the TS3 version of Seasons will be the best EP, judging by the clouded sky that is sometimes in the game.
