Okay, so TS3 has been out since the summer of '09 and not to long ago, MTS did a Medieval theme challenge where creators and modders showed their stuff. Just about all the other Sims3 websites are going Medieval crazy as well due to TSM coming out in Tues. Everyone is all ready for this Medieval game, except me...well, actually that's a lie. :giggler: I am ready for TSM but I'd like to take a break from the Medieval time period and stick with the Victorian Era. When is MTS going to do one for TS3. Now that we all know what was done for the Medieval challenge, I'm dying to see what all the creators and modders are going to do for the Victorian time period. Does anyone else feel that same way, or am I just plain crazy for this time period? :lovestruc

We did Victorian London a while back, though that was just for TS2. We may do themes not connected to challenges more often, but we probably won't be doing a ton of challenges - it's a lot of work on our part to make sure it goes well and is kept up on. We've had some ideas, but probably won't be "repeating" a previous theme for a while yet. Of course creators are more than welcome to make Victorian stuff without a challenge theme.

I would welcome a Victorian theme too. I like that era and do build some Victorian styled homes in my game. EA gave some nice stuff for that era, but I know the community would just explode in creativity and I want to see it!

I would love something like a victorian theme...but I'm still waiting for another Foundations challenge.

I've been wishing sites would do a Victorian theme as well. Seems so strange to focus so much on medieval stuff when they're already coming out with a whole game for that, but whatever floats peoples' boats.

Yes we probably get more as we get conversions from medieval over to Sims 3.
A sort of total conversion of Sims 3 would be fun, had both Victorian and medieval towns in Sims 2. You had new buildings, other professions and clothes, main issue was service npc, townies with random clothing and that the mod was used for all towns.
A Victorian version will be far easier as it’s much closer to modern life than medieval time so you would need fewer changes.

A 1980s theme could be quite, quite amazing.

Only if it's film noir original Scarface type gangster.

Hmm, I'd like another foundation contest, but I'd love a Victorian cotest. It's just something where people (me included) can test where their limit is in building, meshing etc. :)
