This is a large luxury dorm!

I wanted to create something grand enough to warrent to look of extreme awe on the students' faces when they first turn up at university (and usually encounter a grotty little dorm half the size of their parental home, but remain impressed!)

I figured it would probably be an old building that had been renovated into student lodgings, maintaining it's original character.

I wanted something castle/gatehouse like, but also something clean and continental looking, rather than rugged and gothic like many such lots are.

The dorm holds 10 students, and has a refectory, plus smaller snack kitchens, a rec room, a study room, a library and a gym.

It is fully furnished, and assigned as a dorm (you will need to use the boolprop dormspecifictoolsdisabled false cheat to edit build)

The grounds are fairly spectacular and take a lot of looking after, you will need a gardener (I use a Christianlov Ain1 NPC, an elderly caretaker who cleans repairs and gardens and lives in the little cottage/shed in the grounds)

Custom bits:
I have included some of Ennaedwyn's (http://modthesims2.com/member.php?u=42496) plush carpets.

You will need to dwn load the following:
The Oh lala balcony collection:http://modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=110970

You will need these stall recolours:http://modthesims2.com/showthread.p...highlight=stall

I also used frosted glass myne doors: http://modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=105793

and frosted glass washroom doors: http://modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=105772

These pictures were taken after I packaged the lot, so there are a couple of discrepancies:
In the pics you will see the garden pagoda has a roof on it, the included package does not include this roof, as I could not find where the Iron filigree floor tiles came from (may have been parsimonious.org). The pagoda in the pack is therefore just a raised platform, no columns or roof. Sorry!
There is also a difference in the exterior decoration. In the package you will find the blue/grey walls and exterior floors are maxis ones, in the pics I have used the teal slate sidings and floors form Parsimonious.org and a brick floor from the same site.
