* ODIN *
(or Óðinn – 'excitation', 'fury', 'poetry')

God of wisdom, war, battle and death, magic, poetry, prophecy, victory, and the hunt.

He is considered the chief god in Norse mythology and Norse paganism, and is one of the principal gods.
According to the Prose Edda, Odin, the first and most powerful of the Aesir, was a son of the frost giantess Bestla and the god Borr and brother of Ve and Vili.
Together with his two brothers he cast down the frost giant Ymir and created the world from Ymir's body.

Odin was apparently a womanizer – like his Greek equivalent Zeus – and had several children with different godesses, giantesses and human women.
With his wife Frigg , he fathered his most gentle son Balder – god of beauty and peace.
He also fathered the blind god Hod, who was representative of darkness (in contrast to Balder's light).
The Earth Goddess Jord (Fjorgin) was the mother of his most famous son, Thor the Thunderer.
The giantess Grid was the motther of his son Vídar, who will revenge him on Ragnarok.
Rinda (the sources can't agree on if she was a goddess, a giantess or a human princess) was mother of his son Vale (Vali) who was born to revenge his brother Balder by killing his unfortunate brother Hod. Vale grew from a baby to a grown man overnight.
Other sons are Tyr – god of warfare and battle , Heimdall – god of light and security and Bragi – god of poetry.
Odin is also said to be the father of several Scandinavian kings; for example Skjöld (or Scyld) ancestor of the Skjölding dynasty in Denmark; Skjöld was supposedly married to the goddess Gefion.
Other kings were Yngvi, ancestor of the legendary Swedish Ynglings; Saeming, ancestor of a line of Norwegian kings and the Volsungs, where Sigurd descended from. Sigurd is known for killing the dragon Fafne and for his lovestory with the valkyrie Brynhild.By the name Siegfried, he is the hero in the German Nibelungenlied, and Richard Wagner's opera Siegfried.
Valkyries were Odin's beautiful battle maidens that went out to the fields of war to select and collect the worthy men who died in battle to come and sit in Valhalla, feasting and battling until they had to fight in the final battle, Ragnarök.
Odin was the great magician among the gods, he was associated with runic writing and said to have invented the runes. His eight-legged horse, Sleipnir, (a child of Loki ) could gallop through the air and over the sea.
The wolf and the raven were dedicated to him.
Odin was also a shapechanger, able to alter his skin and form in any way he liked. He was said to travel the world as an old man with a staff, one-eyed, grey-bearded, and wearing a wide-brimmed hat, with a blue traveling coat.

At Ragnarok he'll be killed by the wolf Fenrir, a son of Loki.
His son Vidar will revenge him and kill Fenrir.

Odin was usually depicted as a tall old man with a flowing beard and only one eye (the other he gave in exchange for wisdom); he wore a cloak and a wide-brimmed hat and carried a spear.

I didn't give him the wide-brimmed hat, as I fell for Rose's hairstyle from SimsTV, and when he's not travelling the world I picture him with black hair and beard, as the gods had Idunn 's apples to keep them young.
Odin was sort of 'dangerous' to make, as I figure many has made their own image of how he should look, but this is how I picture him (although his wrinkles doesn't show as well as I wanted them to)
Enjoy!
