Here is a set of sixteen eyes. I didn't use source pics--they were made in photoshop, so they don't look too realistic, but they are a lot more realistic than the maxis eyes. They were made with the help of this tutorial.
These colors are very bright, especially the green and blue-green, hence the name "magnetic." These are the first eyes I've ever made, and in my opinion they came out well.

It just occured to me that these would make good default replacements, unfortunately I don't have SimPE so I can't do that myself, so if you have the time, you're welcome to default-ify these!
