This set of four fictional movie posters for your game is an attempt to make good on improving a previous submission that was not accepted.
All the posters are recolors of the Maxis "Surfing The Universe" poster which was included with the University EP so you will need University to use these recolors.
These should look pretty good in a movie theater, video store, or any home. Keep in mind that the posters should look sharper in-game than in the images provided here.
The movies on the posters are:
Dick Justice - A 70's police detective action flick (think Shaft)
Lords & Ladies - Basic sappy victorian era romance/drama film
Fish Thing 2 - A spoof of Creature From The Black Lagoon
HELLoween 4 - Basic Friday The 13'th/Scream type horror flick.
Instructions: In the LeafyLordMoviePosters.rar file you'll find the four posters as .package files. Just place them in your Documents/EA GAMES/The Sims 2/Downloads folder.
Terms of Use: Do whatever you want with these but you cannot claim them as your own work, or upload them to pay sites.
Additional Credits:
Generalzoi for the fin accessories used on the "Fish Thing"
McTrick for the body texture of "Fish Thing"
Rosesims for rose in mouth accessory and mask mesh
Ooga Booga for recolor of rosesims' mask mesh and "Jason" skintone
Fanseelamb for leather jacket/turtleneck and Jeans on Dick Justice
Jixs for prop attachment hack
SussisSoGoodSims for regency coat
VampCat for holdable MP5 and holdable Winchester rifle
Joan12334 for sunglasses on Dick Justice

Also credit goes to Rockstar games for the inspiration of two of the movie titles. "Dick Justice" and "Lords & Ladies" which were featured in the Max Payne games as fictional TV shows.

The LeafyLord
I've been playing The Sims since the first game and its EP's, starting in early 2000. Being a guy and an avid gamer some people might wonder why I enjoy The Sims, a game featuring simulated relationships and interior decorating. The answer is quite simple, I love the sims because of the freedom it gives players to create and use their imagination and the silly humor involved is fantastic. As a creator and a player I enjoy making and using unusual things in my game. Horror, action, sci fi things all hold my interest. I'm not a mesher by any means, so most of my creations are fairly simplistic but unique recolors/re-textures of existing objects and content. A lot of what I make I just make for my personal use, but sometimes I feel the sims community might enjoy my creations too and that's when I'll be uploading things. I'm all about The Sims 2 when it comes to sims games, even in 2013! I doubt I'll ever bother with Sims 3. You're free to use my creations in your game, or include them in lot uploads, movies, or stories as long as you give me credit for my creations. Do not sell my stuff or upload it elsewhere without my permission. Thank you!
